Official 2024 Indycar Season Thread

Yeah very strange; how the hell do two cars in a 3 car team think a rule has changed but 1 (Power) doesnt? Even he seemed to sound fairly skeptical when interviewed yesterday; basically saying that if he had noticed the push to pass working he would have "radioed the team to ask"

That's the part that didn't wash for me. If they were genuinely surprised at having access to it, surely they would have queried it either over radio or during the debrief?
 
The Penske push to pass thing is still rumbling on - a number of Penske employees, including the President, Tim Cindric have been suspended by the team - https://www.the-race.com/indycar/pe...ef-newgarden-engineer-suspended-for-indy-500/

Does anyone else listen to The-Race.com Indycar podcast? I really didn't buy what J. R. Hildebrand was saying during his 15 minute diatribe on the Penske cheating allegations.
 
Never really understand why it’s a week ahead of the race either but I guess tradition is tradition!

Fair play to Kyle Larson sticking it in the top 5 in his first go at Indy! Having at go at doing the double next weekend, Indy and the NASCAR Coca Cola 600 on the same day!
