As much as Perez has clearly started this season better than last; he's still almost 12 seconds behind Max; even in the dominant days of McLaren, Ferrari or Mercedes Mk1 there was rarely such a huge gap between the team mates in those leading cars, Hakkinen and Coulthard, Schumacher and Barrichello or Hamilton and Rosberg/Bottas
