**Official 3D Mark 11 scores**

Took note of what Kaapstad suggested and got my cpu to 5.2GHz using 130bclk x 40 on a 125 strap. My single 690 score is now..........

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6532674

I also stole.....errr.....borrowed the other 690 back and managed to increase my 4xGPU score up a bit.......

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6561442

The other 690 is not as good a clocker as mine.....unless there's another trick I need to know about?......:). Is it worth trying to clock each GPU separately or does the system just tie them all together when you apply the settings (even if you select them not to in the tweaker that is being used)?

Some nice scores there.:)

I have always made sure the best clocking 690 is in the top slot and then ran them at the same overclock. Even then they will still boost to different clocks. I have also found with the best card in the top slot, it can carry the weaker card and allow it to perform slightly better than it would on its own.

Good graphics score on the single card run

Which drivers did you use?

The physics score is higher than Kaaps
What were your memory speeds/timings? Also what voltage were you shoving through that chip for 5.2?

Managed 1.54 Vcore through it without any hassle. Using an NXZT X60 water cooler which seems to keep things cool enough.

Got another 4 GPU score

Still short of 28k but might try my old SS gathering dust in the garage

OOPS! Forgot.........ram is at 2426 C9 11 11 31 T2 (Corsr Dom)

Have you tried running it at C9 11 11 25 1T 96 these timings are good for me up to 2500mhz.

y0 whats the updated instructions for doing this?

Is it on Ice Storm or Cloud Gate or Fire Strike?

What settings / resolution etc?

I don't see a performance mode listed in mine as mentioned in OP :S

Thanx for that. At work atm. Try later.

Got my SS on the 3960x and the Physics score fell off the cliff.

Can run the cpu over 5400 but the Physics has dropped from over 17k to just above 16k. All I did was up the multi to 42. Everything else as before :(

Hope I'm not hogging the thread.

How are you cooling the VRMs? Are you it's not throttling itself?

OOPS. Never considered that. I'm using the standard cooling that comes with the RIVE.

I've disabled the VRM monitoring in the bios but I could do with knowing what actual VRM settings in the bios matter and what to alter.

If you're pushing that high then you will need better VRM cooling. The stock cooling is quite poor, especially the rear of the VRMs. I strongly suggest you get water on them or at least modify the stock heatsink.

More cooling woes.......boo hoo :(. I know you're right but laziness is my forte :D. Oh well, onward and upward.

Thanx for the replies.
