Its failing, its spend its 3+ years overclocked @ 4.1+ Ghz, 2 of those crunching numbers 18 hours a day.

It no longer holds an overclock, its not even stable at stock anymore without insane volts, a classic case of increasingly leaky transistors, silicone burnout. R.I.P :(:(:(:(:(

Its almost ironic, it was a choice between a Bloomfield / Lynnfield i7 and the 1090T all those years ago. now i'm stuck not being able to afford a new 3770K and AMD's current offerings don't exactly give me any fiz about them.

So now i'm waiting to see what happens with Intel's new chips and AMD.

Nice going Matt and good CPU clocks :)

I am now hovering over the keys in anticipation of the 780's knocking a few Titans down the ranks :D

Probably right, i can't afford to lose £550 this month anyway and really don't want to put anything on my CC either. Besides...got 11 graphics cards sitting on my conservatory table ready for benchmarking this weekend :D (hopefully two more come in the post tomorrow :p)

Might post the links to all the 3D11 and 3DV scores, depends if you want to update pointless scores or not.
 
I found niquitin patches worked for giving up smoking but no idea for giving up GPU's :D

Add away Tony, I am more than happy to add them.
 
I'm up and running with a slightly modified rig. Put my 780 under water. These are the initial results. Haven't found the limits yet but there isn't much voltage play unless an unlocked bios emerges. I am certainly not temp limited (Max temp 30 C):

Core + 200
Mem + 100

Core boost 1215MHz

P 14,781 with my 3930k at a modest 4.7 GHz:



This card is awesome and very overclockable so far.

When I get some time, I will squeeze more out of it.
