Get an 8 thread chip ltmatt, you'll be up nearer to a 12K P score ;)

Change of plan on the new motherboard, just about to snag an MSI Big Bang Xpower II, with one snag...I don't have a case (yet) that will take an XL-ATX board :p
 
I have been reading up on piledriver and it looks to be a decent chip. I want to see AMD do well again so we have healthy competition. AMD Vs Nvidia/AMD Vs Intel. It can only help our pockets.

So this was ran at 1250/1750? My 7950 scores higher for graphics score (11612) at 1250/1700, perhaps you aren't using a high enough memory voltage (causing it to error check reducing performance).
