Drop in temps makes a huge difference to possible clocks as I expected. Not even touched the voltage yet and can probably hit 1300Mhz easy

X79 is needed yea. My 3930k @ 5.2GHz agrees!

tempted to pick up a cheap 3930 on ebay I love my Ivy-E as it's a good clocker considering the average (4.7 @ 1.4v) but they're a different beast from Sandy
