One thing I can't do is go straight in with my known max clocks, it will just crash, mems are fine doing this but the core needs coaxing, usually about 60hz below and work up, by which time I have no chance of a sub 40c run.

Same for me and has been since the 680 days. I have to give them a run on stock and then go for it.

I found that at first when they were new but now I just go balls deep on boot and it's rock solid lol

Try out the 334.67 beta drivers on FS/FSE. They seem better than the newer WHQL drivers for a lot of guys, including myself.
