**Official 3DMark 'Fire Strike' Leaderboard**

What voltage did you put through it for 4.9 mate? With vcore at 1.32 and input at 2.1, (the latter fires up in purple warning in bios) temps are good at 75c max in 3dm. Seems that the secret with haswell is having input voltage at least 0.6v higher than vcore. Running real bench on the above results in a max temp of 84c on auto fan. With fans set to max im sure i could knock at least 5c of that.

Edit, just checked a screenshot of my first 4790k in real bench, 1.312 vcore at 4.8ghz, though on that one i had input pretty low at 1.88. Which will probably explain why it crashed when gaming. Temps on that run were 79c max and iirc that was with the case and cooler fans maxed.

Not a clue buddy, 1.35v at a guess? I know i went up to 1.4 for 5g to no avail.
Your old chip also does 4.9, not bothered with higher. Running it at stock lol.

Not mutch Frosty little bit higher memclock.
1700 vs 1725.
Seems like r290 is very bandwidth hungry when they go 1300+ core
love this hynix board btw. Elpida boards only does 1625 on mem:)

I have no idea about fiddling with settings and you would need to ask others (8 pack?) on how you turn settings so it gives inflated scores but still gives a valid result.

All added and well done Pulse and Frosty who have now resigned me to the depths of a spoiler :D Managed to stay in the top 15 for a long time though, so can't grumble :)

Yep and the same for 3 cards. I was tempted to add another PSU for benching but with 2 of the cards being dogs, I can't be bothered :D

You should have another bash at the 2 card score. You should waste your old score with the new Psu.

If you need a Psu to borrow, gis a shout when ready and i'll send you one.

Aye, 5g is very very rare on theese. Think I've seen one on here that will run this speed on good voltage for 24/7 use. Scores in this scale quite nicely with cpu speed. Seems my old one is having quite an easy life then.:D

That was the best I could get. If I unlinked them, I might be able to get another 40Mhz on the top card but it is a lot of effort for a few more points. Thanks for the offer of a PSU but I have 2 750W jobbies doing nothing :)
