Turns out it can get too cold, had water freeze in my rad so it clogged the loop and caused my cpu to overheat lol

Use Glenfiddich whisky instead !!!

There are a number of advantages to this.

1. It won't freeze.
2. It will keep your system bug and slime free.
3. It has a nice colour.
4. It is about the same price as some of the more exotic coolants.
5. When you drain the loop you can drink the contents.:D

oh arent you in a good mood today :p too bad i dont drink :D

I hope this help Rangerjr1

Use methanol mix.(best when going subzero water)
+transfer heat
+low viscosity at low temps ( no nead for many strong pumps)
+ You can have better water ratio in mix for desired temps
+ toxic kills all unwelcomed things in loop
+best heat transfer when subzero since most h2o in mix

-But not drink it when drain the loop, Hospital/graveyard next if you do:D

Ethanol mix aint bad either (worst then methanol, transfer heat aswell.
+better properties then glycol mix for subzero.
+nearly same properties as methanol mix
-not as god as methanol mix on subzero water

Glycol mix
+cheap
+easy to get
+ protect blocks etc from corrosion
+good for cars and engines

-very low heat transfer (glycol)
-nead high mix to lower waters frezzing point
- become like syrup when gets cold
-messy when leak
-nead a lot of pump power
-worst heat transfer of all when mix at subzero

I have a hailea subzero chiller modding guide at http://forums.midlifegamers.co.uk/ if someone is interested of going colder then 3 degrees . ;)

Oh thanks man, definitely saving this. But for me to really do any benching now id need a 5960x, a new GPU and maybe even a chiller. And i just cant afford any of them at this time
