**Official 3DMark 'Fire Strike' Leaderboard**

Damn not top anymore :(

Well done gregster

Chris

Cheers bud. I wasn't going to do any overclocking but my cards will be for sale soon, so got to promote them :)

Just been having a look at it.

I think its part drivers, part 3dmark

On my best run I get 130 fps for the first test, the second test is very low, the physics test is ok compared to other peoples and the combined test hardly runs at all.

I remember when 3dmark11 came out, I had similar problems with my HD 5970s

SLI working a treat Kaap and this is my latest run :)

Sorry guys. 3DMark not showing scores for me at the moment. It looks like this one is AMD favoured with a very tidy score from Tonester :)

Will update all in the morning without fail.

My score just popped up (took about 10 mins)

1346Mhz/3645Mhz clocks
Still water cooled (but warming up).

Some good scores peeps and I look forward to adding everyone to the leader board :)

I do like the Fire Strike bench/demo. Very smart looking.

Anyone else noticed it can take forever to view the scores after you click "view scores online"?

Lol Setter. None of the 3DMarks have been good with CPU speeds. Not sure what the problem is but it has been a constant error on them.

It would be cool if it picked up GPU clock speeds as well but small faults and doesn't spoil it.

AMD users spoil it though with those crazy scores :p

Keep the scores coming guys and all comers welcome.

All scores updated and I am sure I have made a mistake some where, so could you all please check your scores and links.

A big thanks to all who have taken the time to run the benchmark and submit your scores. Remember it is a bit of fun and can be helpful to others.

Thanks chaps and keep the scores coming :)

As for suggestions, I will have a look back through later and give them some careful consideration :)

Ok, I think that is all the scores added. I didn't add your triple card score TB because of how wrong it was but if you still want me to, no problem.

Thanks Humbug for spotting my errors (and I am sure there is a few more), so if anybody spots anything, please be sure to let me know.

Big thanks again to all for entering.

As for suggestions, I reserved a slot for which I may well just do GPU scores and ignore what CPU is in the machine. As we are on a GPU forum, I feel this would be a good thing. Any thoughts on this guys?

Another suggestion was linking to the post that people have put their score in but I feel it is quite a pain adding a link to the 3dmark score, and adding another link will seriously make it hard work for me. I don't mind doing this and again, let me know what you guys think.

As for custom coolers, I can't see much point when so many cards come with decent custom coolers already. If people want to lie about what cooling they are using, that is their choice (and I don't see why they would).

Any more suggestions are welcomed.

Other thoughts I had are:

Use Fire Strike for all GPU's
Use cloud gate for a mid range cards (maximum of a 660TI/7870 (non XT)
Use Ice storm for older gen cards (580/6970)

Good or not?

Nice to see a couple of laptops and happy to add a seperate section if we get a few more :)

Edit:

I will bring my lappy home from work that I use for gaming and give that a blast :)

Should be interesting.

Just a quick big up to Kamz for his awsome clocks on that 7950. Well done mate.

Fantastic score to Whyscotty on his 7970/'s. Deserved top scores and wondering if Kaapstad can nick your spot?

As anyone who knows me, knows that I am a fan of Nvidia but seeing these bench scores and not just here but in Vantage and Heaven, AMD have done seriously well this gen.

Hopefully the shape of things to come and long may it continue :)

Nice thread, didn't know this was out yet. Gonna try this (:

Thankyou :)

I don't think physics count at all on these benchmarks

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/36059

5186 points

Graphics Score 5539

Physics Score 12454

Combined Score 2204

7850 @Core clock 1,165 MHz Memory clock 1,450 MHz air cooled

3770k @4.6ghz air cooled

I also agree that Physics isn't so important in this.

Another run, higher clocks. Sorry, gregster. :)

Looks like the video memory clock makes quite a difference in this benchmark, might finally have to start overclocking it to remain competitive with other 7970s.

Hats off to you, sir. :)

No sorry bud and fantastic score. Thanks for the compliment :)

Nice score Matt and awsome clocks on your 7970. I added custom cooler just for you and if anybody else has one, let me know :) No biggie either way to add that.

I have decided to do a seperate score for GFX cards only and put them into sections (everyone can have a little competion with his fellow card holder). So for instance:

Top 10 7970 scores

Top 10 680 scores

Top 10 7950 scores

Top 10 670 scores

etc...

If you have a 7990 or 690, you can disable one of the cores and make it like a single card. I will get on this tomorrow :)

All scores added and now I will start doing the GPU scores. I like the Physics charts and will add those as well.

Stu@MSD, I missed your 2 card score but rectified now :) (good score btw) :)

You need to swap me and whyscotty around greg. ;)

;) Just wanted to see how long it would take ya. Great score Matt and not even under water....Oh what could be if it was :p

Also guys, part of the rules is to list your clock speeds and type of cooling used. Please do this or I will not add.

You know what, your right.

How about Top 10;

GTX 660TI - GTX 660 / 7870 - 7850.

Us mid range guys have no chance of keeping up with you elitist GTX 680 / 7970 guys :p and are there in all ridiculed to the losers corner hidden under the Spoiler.

Perhaps some tier division is a good idea.

I will do those now (had to pop out, so stopped updating) :)

All updated (except Locky).

Thanks for adding guys and now regardless of what card you have, there is no excuse for not trying to beat your fellow owners of the same GPU :)

Save on the heating and get those cards clocked :)

Cheers Setter and Kamz (putting my 680's to shame with that score...Fantastic :))
