What mobo?

Gigabyte UD3... but my 3930k needed nearly 1.5 volts to be stable at 4.6, but it will do 4.5 @ 1.428 which I'm much happier with as a day to day setting

3d mark got right to the end and then came up with an error at 1175 / 3300 and I'm disinclined to let it run again tonight, maybe tomorrow (or maybe go for the SLI and Tri SLI runs later in the week)

1.5 for 4.6

I use 1.495 for 5.0 :p

Sorry, had to let you know that after you took my top spot. Vdroop bad on those boards or just a bad chip?

I use offset clocking now - no vdroop
when using the standard set to get, yeah vdroop was pretty bad

I think it's just a "bad" chip - I did get it off ebay for about £200 though so can't complain too much

Blimey that is a stinker, but still if you're going to get a stinker probably best to get it on a 6 core cpu.

Have you dropped to 2*7950's Tommy?

Yes, no point in getting another 70, no point at all@1080p for the negligible performance difference tbph.

Ocuk asked me before I sent it back if I wanted a refund or replacement so I took the cash, bought the Ice-Q on offer the other day@£240 and got another 2 games and £60 back in my pocket...

Long story short, sitting on 7950 CrossFire now with 7 triple A games(the 3 games from the original offer on the 70, 3 Never Settle titles and 2 Never Settle Reloaded titles) for the grand total of £440, can't complain at that, can I?

:D

Nice going. A bit of bad luck can turn good sometimes. Now send me Bioshock Infinity and we will say no more about it :p

I know, the last time that happened was a while back now, an old girlfriend wouldn't stop eating the crisps by the multi pack-literally sometimes could even polish two multi packs even, on a good night for her:eek:-it cracked me up it did.

She got dumped and it resulted in tommy having the time of his life for a good few years!:D

Now send me Bioshock Infinity and we will say no more about it :p

I'll crack the jokes bud.;)

Seeing as Raikiri came along and trumped my 5870 score, it's time to fight back :D

Artefacts on desktop, didn't even run the test.

Competing against Raikiri (the other 5870 owner). Stole his settings.
