Titan it seems are great for 05, 03 and 06 too. Just so disappointing the amount of hassle needed to mod the cards for serious clocks.
 
No not yet mate.

I am modding two cards with full VRM replacement FTW is at the limit of current VRMS and to be honest for what I do in the pro league I know I will need more than 1.4v which immediately killed two pro clockers cards I know on standard power systems. I will need around 1.6-1.7 to get the best out of the cards as Kingpin etc have shown. Hopefully I get two cards back in two weeks with the full VRM changed mod.

where do you send them?
trust me if it's not info that OCUK would like bandied about on the forum

Is the 8970 going to equal or be faster than a £900 titan 8Pack? You seem to know more than you're letting on. ;)

I didn't buy my Titan's from OCUK anyway, so no warranty claim will be coming in from me, as I say, trust me the info and it's clean from OCUK's perspective

I thought kingpin et al did it themselves, but if there's someone out there willing to do it for other people then I'd like to atleast have access to that info, even if I never use it
 
By the way guys I killed my chip with nvflash to do this. I used a botched firmware and corrupted the card entirely. funky screen and everything but managed to use a hirens boot disk and minixp to run nvflash and restore the original. Not learning my lesson I created my own BIOS dump and modified the voltages on the card using nvflash again. This time it worked perfectly and that's how I got these scores today.
