Same here! I need to work on ram tuning aswell. Ram speed currently running at 2400MHz timings at 11,12,11,32 1T.
Which benifits benchmarks the most, higher speeds with loser timings or lower speeds with tighter timings?

I have only adjusted the primary timings, the seconds and thirds are still tight.
I have used 3dmark11 physics test to compare.

Overclocking the memory above its rated 2400mhz did very little going to 2500mhz. @2600mhz with slack timings this resulted in a big drop in performance.
Running @1600mhz with tight timings gave very good results (I have seen people using much faster memory getting worse results).
So to answer the question tight Timings seem to make a bigger difference than just using faster memory with slack timings.
