:confused: How on earth can this be described as a smooth launch when loads of people can't logon ? Of recent MMO's I've played Warhammer, Age of Conan and Champions online all had better launches for me personally because I could logon straight away. I'm currently sat 1137th in a queue for a server I don't want to play on because I can't even queue on the server I really want. If I don't get on within the next 10 minutes then even Fallen Earth has had a smoother launch and that's one of the buggier (yet brilliant) mmo's.

This is the opposite of smooth, infact I expected a lot better given the amount of time they have had to prepare for the Aion launch in the West. Not having a go at you op, just makes me chuckle that even a game where it feels like they've had years to prepare can't get it right.
 
Aion through all beta stages had a client that was stable and free of problems.. there were delays for EU when they were going live but nothing unexpected.. every MMo has some sort of delay/problem but NcSoft are generally top notch .. this was to be expected though :p
 
A tip to everyone if you are trying to get onto the guild server.

Sit there and hold down Enter.

I put a weight on mine and went away for 15mins to have a shower, it keeps trying to log you in every second. Im now in the queue for the server (which was better than before) with a 50min wait time.

Pain in the arse way to do it but it works. Good luck and see you all on in an hour!

you sure your in right que? as after it says ok back to server list i think enter picks the one with green around edge
 
i was in a queue, must have been 1800/2000 with it slowly going down. went to get a drink and when i came back i was on character screen and able to go ingame... odd...

that sucks... i am in uk but want to play on US one due to guild from other games on there

could have swapped accounts so he got my EU one and i got his US but ive allready rebought the US version

Damn! That would have been perfect! Can still swap if you know anyone else who has done the same? Or if you want 2 accounts! :)

His account has Guild Wars and COH/V on it too.

I am 1200 in the queue at the moment, won't complain really as game isn't live and if everyone was able to get on at once starting areas would impossible to do.

You don't need to do this ^ press enter once leave the box and you will enter queue automaticly
