Hi guys, just created a thread for people to discuss their Antec Kuhlers, have fun, post temps and generally just enjoy this amazing but of kit! :)

Mine came through the post today, installed it without a hitch.

Keeps my ATM stock i7 860 at 18-20 degrees. At idle. Awesome eh? :)

The fan is controlled by the pump, not via pwm. It speeds up as the water heats up

As for those claiming it's the same as the h50, BMR actually showed it to be better than the H70 ;) I need to reapply TIM on mine though, as one core is 13 degrees higher

Oh, and @Antec Jessie, is there an optimal configuration for the rad/fan setup? I have it in push/pull using both the original fan and the Phantom exhaust fan, with the original pulling. I also have the radiator mounted so the hoses are to the left hand side of the case as you look forward at it. Is there any better setup?

Thanks :)

Thanks jessie, just don't think I could have any more intakes and it still work :)

Thanks Jessie exactly what I was wondering just wanted to make sure there wasnt a problem not using that cable from the pump. Do you happen to know what size screws would be needed to add a second fan to the rad please.

Just do what I did mate, and use half the screws on one fan and the other half with the other, works like a charm :)

Some images of it set up in my rig :)

Nice rig Shayper, how's it working out for you? You've got 6950 in crossfire as well so I'm presuming you generate quite a bit of heat as well right?

What's your push pull system like? You and Schizo have got a couple of pricey cases so I guess airflow shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'm thinking of getting the Zalman Z9 as that's going to be more in my price range.

The rig is pretty beasty, worth every penny :) And yeah there's quite a bit of heat in my case, but it's bloody freezing here in London!

The push pull setup is fine, works better now that I have two of the same fans! If you had the cash for the Phantom I'd highly recommend, however the z9 looks pretty cool. The only problem I've had with the phantom so far is no watercooling without modding, but that's a project log for the summer ;)

Thanks, I do like it, but its not quite as quiet as id like...... Ive still got my megahalems so might try that, currently got two vipers on the Khuler, any other recommendations? maybe i should just try one fan?

Do you have the fans on 12v or pwm? If it's on pwm just use speedfan to keep the noise down :)

If you are on 12v, then get a fan splitter to run them both of the motherboard's CPU fan header. It's nice and quiet then.
