Both setups are rubbish at using the 3rd and 4th cards but NVidia are marginally better.

Ran the benchmark with Raptr in the background and it does give quite a performance hit.

Bench runs were done at 1202/1497 290X - 1080P - 3930K @ 4.4

That is the highest I can go and that isn't stable 99% fan speed and 90c on the card as well (+165mv)

I don't seem to be able to improve on that even with overclocking.

I just tried running this bench but whenever i try to take a screenshot in afterburner the screen goes black showing nothing.

I don't think this bench is actually any good/accurate! I'm averaging 75 for the first video but when it transitions to the 2nd, I loose 25fps!! Garbage!
