*** Official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Thread ***

ARGH! Minor point but VERY annoying- since getting the SPECACT pack I randomly lose my class settings on Medic, Assault and Engineer and always lose my saved settings for Recon. Sometimes it is one or two of the options sometimes it is all weapons and specialisms.

Sometimes its nice to have a punt at getting to the good vehicles but now I have no chance due to a 20 second or so delay whilst I reset everything :(

Its very good. But if I recall you werent a fan of the demo? I havent been playing much recently. I seem to get in to games with only a few people on each side. That and I hate the amount of deadzone on the sticks on 360 version.
 
this is probably a completely stupid question based on the reviews on the game, but the game online at a certain playful retailer for £24.99 would i be an idiot not to snap this up?

Do you have the VIP code entered? Or is there just not that many people playing it now? I had a go briefly last weekend and experienced the same thing but I wondered whether it was because I hadn't input the VIP code and was therefore put on a "minority" server with other non-VIPs. After all, you can't mix VIP and non-VIP players on the same server as there are additional maps.

I prefer BF to any COD game so I would say yeah, its more tactical, more realistic and really good fun if you get a good squad together. IMO.

Defo, snap it up...thats a bargain for a game you'll play for a very long time.

Yeah I got VIP. I seem to get into games of 8v8 usually and then after a few games its pretty dead and I leave and start the process all over again. I've had my fill now really so its a not a problem.
 
thanks guys, any ideas on how to unlock the defrib? Or better still how I can see a list of things I can unlock and my progress?

I'm getting into this now, going to see if I like it more then I'll put the VIP code in
 
You just keep playing to unlock things. IIRC, on the multiplayer menu from the main screen is an option view unlockables.

Yeah I wasnt the biggest fan but it does look like fun and my friends are all picking it up. I found a £2 voucher for play as well so I took the plunge. £22.99 cant be bad and I could always trade it in if I dont like it.
 
Just had a awesome moment on Atacama Desert playing conquest !!!

Choppers own'ing the level like they do :(

Me in a tank take 1 out with a blast :eek: was awesome lol then did it again with another chopper :eek::D

Would loved to of seen the pilots face !!!

Anyone else done this ?!?!
