In my experience dice are pretty good when it comes to balance. I'm sure appropriate tweaks will be made.
 
You know, the game (demo at least) is near-perfection and I can't believe such a retarded achievement has almost compelled me not to buy the game. The risk of team-killing is phenomenally massive if you're gonna get freaking rewarded for it. Seriously it's bull ****. How can they make such a good multiplayer game and then drop a steaming turd right on top of it?
 
Don't be silly. That achievement is to do with collecting the dog-tags of five friends.

And anyway you can't teamkill in normal mode.

It seems they have to be on the opposing team from doing some reading up - which means you will collect their tags.

On hardcore mode you dont collect tags for TK'ing so it cant be gained though knifing them when they're on your team.

Dice would never hear the end of it if they added a TK achievement, glad it isnt. :)
 
Ive had a preorder with a certain online retailer for a while now, shall we call 'retail outlet 2 dot net', they have yet to confirm its the Limited Edition though.

The UK's largest high street retailer is advertising said edition however. Im not sure whether to cancel and go with them, to make sure I receive the Limited Edition.

The current place I have my preorder with is only charging £34.85 as opposed to £39.99 with the other retailer however.

I cant imagine the publisher only supplying one retailer with Limited Edition copies and no one else though, surely?

Might just stick with where Im at.

The rainforest site is offering a free ak74 upgrade, though they have cocked up and listed it as an ak47. I can pass on that, as its not my favourite class anyway, I'll soon unlock it in time.

I believe Dice have said that all pre-orders will be LE. I dont think you'll see a non LE until a few months after.

I'm really really ready to have more maps now, demo has outlasted its welcome, I still like this map and won't mind playing it in the game but only playing one map time and time again has finally got old :p

Thats why Ive purposely held back on the demo as much as I can, imagine when you play the full game and the demo map loads up every 8 or so maps :p
 
Bah humbug. I will have to take a chance and get this on rental now. My Windows 7 RC is going to start shutting down every 2 hours from 1st March so I need to shell out on that instead. :(
 
Not long now :D Wonder if my pre order will turn up early, this is the first game I have ever pre ordered online before :D
