These forums are enough to make you want to give up gaming. Tim does a lot for ocuk, for no reason, and sometimes people throw it back in his face.
Since i left TFU i realised i didnt want to play games with a bunch of ****'s so just quit completely. The **** up and inevitable smashing of some fanny i will have off the sale of my gtx will be far greater achievment than fragging Tefal.

No offence but i think you picked pretty much completely the wrong genre of games if you only want to play it with people you know. The other failing was probably making the TFU servers public... If the vast majority of people quit MoH then yes it was most likely a crap game, unless you also believe your entire clan are a bunch of sheep who have no opinions of there own? Regardless that has no impact on BC2 which is a vastly superior game to MoH.

I've never tried to dictate what gamnes people play, i've rather tried to give every1 in the clan the chance to play on a clan server by giving them choice... BC2 was a great game, but we lost loads and loads of people because of the bugs... We kept going and had we had a nice clan coming.... then the release of BO and MoH kinda sent people everywhere and nobody plkaying 1 game..
But meh... who cares hey!
And this is the root of the demise of pc games, too many generic games and fewer and fewer players on every release because people are getting fed up, not one game standing out
Unfortunately there's not enough left to vote with numbers and even when a campaign to revolt gets under way a la MW2 people buckle and buy anyway eventually, 80% of a clan however will rarely be wrong because these people want to be fans of this type of game, quality is just not there anymore
I still can't explain your sig though, how people can sit and play nuke town and enjoy it for more than 5 minutes is beyond me,
I think only a big release of a dedicated pc engine from someone like Valve will put us back on right track, but the silence is deafening

anyone else getting raged at the general poor tactics that take place on vietnam servers
when you are attacking your team all camp and dont attack, so when you try to actually attack you just get killed by the other team because they have nothing else to shoot at
got proper raged at a squad mate who kept spamming grenades and killing only teammates with them haha
vantage point map that starts with the river is just impossible to get out of the river, never seen any team get out of it no idea what the rest of the map is like

Yea I agree with you.
Very rare is it to find a server where the attackers are attacking intellegently and the defenders defend tooth and nail.
Thats why I know I need to get in to a clan, so that there is more administration and generaly higher quality player and hopefully less camping.

I think you should stick to BF:BC2 or BF:2 mate as that's where TFU's roots are at and continue playing WoW to have a breather from FPS', just so you have a different type of game to turn to.
Whatever you do, don't play an FPS on the console, it's ****in awful. If companies are shafting the PC, then give me a mouse and keyboard for my Xbox 360 and i'll be happy.

The generic games like cod have higher numbers at launch (and for the year after till the next cod) than any of the old games had.
There are still tends of thousands of people playing all these games. the problem is the 10-15 people you play with have left for whatever reason.
But the peak is very early on and not sustainable, with many people myself included buying cod:bo and 3 hours later realising it was a huge mistake,
I for one am going to be much more careful with pre orders in future, I could currently do without cod and moh in my steam list and wouldnt miss them, many of our clan feel the same
We also seem to play because there's nothing else, we have what we are delt, doesn't mean its good

At the end of the day people move on and want to play the latest and "greatest"
Not just gameplay but with a top end system I expect graphics to improve too, most are standing still
There was no demo or beta for black ops so until it came no one really knew what it was gonna be like, moh beta sucked but I eventually got it for less than half price with codes
I'll move on now though, you can prepare for your next victim, you seem to enjoy it

Well some people are just completely oblivious or just optimistic to the point of stupidity. Given you bought both despite them blatantly being nothing special and purely being the 'newest' and absolutely nothing to do with 'greatest' i'm not sure what category you fit into.
The sooner you stop making excuses for why you bought the 'newest' release the better. There was enough evidence out there before release to show you exactly what to expect from both those games.
Never made any excuses mate, just said from now on I'd be less likely to pre order or be swayed by other opinions after release,
I bought moh because at the time it's all my clan were playing for about 3 weeks, and enjoying it, now it's never touched

For me bc2 has had no longer / shorter life span than bf2 did. The only difference between then two was mod tools and unranked server files. What kept bf2 going was clan wars, enemy down and clanforge scrims, using irc to get nightly 8v8's etc etc. You can't do that with bc2, its purely a pub game and it gets as old as quick as everything else did/does.
