We are sending out new servers to our providers called "R5". They will be testing them out and changing over the servers by tomorrow evening. This server contains some fixes for the "Connection to the server has been lost" message that a lot of you will have seen.

We are also working on making another new server over the weekend as EA has set up some dedicated front-end boxes just for Battlefield Bad Company 2 which we will update the server to use and should work to improve the stability of connections to EA for everyone.

I had this with the beta with the same card, can't say I've noticed it on full release so can't help you I am afraid.

Only thing I can suggest is rolling back your driver to older ones or waiting for new drivers.

How does it run on your system? Your sig spec looks near identical to mine. Mine seems to run very smoothly at max settings. very pleased with it, even if the graphics do look a little bit dated in places.
 
Is anyone elses Steam copy not closing properly? I have to go into the task manager every time to make sure its gone otherwise it just launches another instance of the game.

I thought it was the UI Beta but I've taken that off and it still does it, its a bit annoying as it also means Steam shows me being in game when I'm not.

Its a bug, earlier i had 3 instances of the exe running. :eek: Sucking up near 300mb each.

I was playing until 10 minutes ago and decided for a break so came out to have a look at OcUK forums etc.
I can't log in now. :(
I was having some great games too.
 
was having a great sesh aswell and then computer says noooooo :(..... this reminds me of Pro Evo 6 days when it was launch nite.. "connection to server lost" ... ohhhh still rattles me that does lol....

Oh well... lets hope the new servers improve stability...

and on that prone debate.. im glad its out... camping little rats! wanna camp.. go play ARMA! battlefield is not for that.
