Great round on nM just now, top player in my team, (beat overall though). 25/19 kd, my first positive in a while lol. Started playing as engineer lately, a class ive severely overlooked, at4 is great, but i cant figure out how to use the cg at all, every round i fire splashes into the ground after a few metres.:o

All you need to know about Engi kit is the following

Mines + lightweight + magnum ammo + Uzi / UMP

Ive been using the ump, mag ammo and the rpg/at4. The ump is a little cracker, but i cant get used to the cg at all, dont know what im doing wrong.

As promised earlier heres a video showing the game pace. Its only one life, I dont know why Windows Movie Maker has uploaded it as this weird resolution and aspect ratio. Originally played a 1920x1080 - Fraps recording at half-size and 30fps.

I don't understand what point you're trying to make with this. Please explain. Are you suggesting it's slower (better or worse) or you running around as though it's a faster paced game? 1 kill in 4 minutes.

Well I play to the objective and if that means watching out for anyone pushing up to take our points whilst trying to take theirs. I said that I wasn't amazing at the game, I don't pretend to be.

Had a few great game just now. Love it when the whole team works together, doesn't happen too often but when it does this game is a real gem.

So this new inbound patch, is it only for Origin users?

Thats what this thread seems to indicate..

BFBC2 has been patched?

Google finds...

[qoute]attlefield: Bad Company 2 Beta Patch Released

Friday, 26 August, 2011

DICE released a beta patch today for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The beta will only work with the non-Steam version of the game. Full information on installing the beta patch can be found in the EA UK forum thread.

What's this?

DICE has produced a candidate for the next game client update for BFBC2 PC. If this is deemed good enough, it will become the official patch, and will be pushed out to everyone. For now though, the patch is still in Beta.

House rules:

You install and run the patch at your own risk.
The Beta client can only play against a couple of special Beta game servers.
You are expected to report problems and overall impressions in this forum (BC2 PC Patch Feedback - Electronic Arts UK Community).

Should I install the Beta Patch?

If you are technically minded and you want to try it out, feel free to do so.
If you just want to play the game, wait until the full release takes place.

Ah, so it should be coming to steam versions too then.
