Really?!

It's bloody hard to stay in the air now, with so many AT4s flying around and the stupidly overpowered AA gun (VADS).

Hate the flares, if you have a good pilot the apache just cant be taken down.

For this you need two engis who are both decent with tracer darts then no problem. Unfortunately last night I was playing on angels with no unlocks so the admin was flying around in the chopper with impunity..grrr. AT4 skilz would be useful but that wasnt unlocked either!

I am probably the worst pilot ever to have attempted to fly an apache, the amount of times I've just flown it into a cliff-side is astonishing.

• Fixed crashes when the game attempted to render lots of content (high detail, high FOV or multiple-monitor modes); this should particularly help multi-monitor users
• Chat window no longer causes lag spikes
• Chat window reworked opacity & visibility-time is controllable through settings in settings.ini
• Clantag is remembered when using auto-login
• Banner URLs can be up to 252 characters in length
• SecuROM wrapper removed from non-Steam version
• Minor performance enhancements
• Reduced rubberbanding on servers with more than 24 active players
• PrintScreen takes a screenshot, file stored in Documents\BFBC2\Screenshots directory

Been playing a fair bit of Vietnam earlier, despite all its many flaws, I actually had quite a good time playing it.

Vietnam is really good, i love everything about it, it's a shame they didn't do a SP for it though.

Argh! This game is stupid at times. Why, after more than a year, has DICE not fixed:

Rubber banding - See latest patch.
Lag problems even though you have great Ping and Connection Speed - See latest patch, also, 32/32 servers are known to be laggy for some gamers.
in game glitches like graphics flickering(no other game I play does it) - That's your graphics developers problem.
Hit registration - It was okay the last time i played it, which was a month ago.

Any one know what happens when you have two games installed that both run Punk Buster?

Lets say they use different versions, do you have 4 PB related exe's running.....?

oh the team killer paid...

playing hc rush and got TK'ed for the chopper... i raged bad!

spawned as a medic and then killed him and revived before killing and reviving managed 7 cycles before i was kicked

I have many games that are installed that run punk buster they don't seem to interfere with each other.

Downloaded this again last night, having problems though with loading a map, tried with and without crossfire and it still loads really slowly and i get poor FPS ingame as well.

Specs: i'm running on a 5870-5970 in Tri-Fire, AMD Phenom II x4 [email protected], 2 Corsair Dominators@4GB, Corsair 1000W PSU.

Well good bye my old friend, havent fired it up in about 4 months anyway, decided to do a steam backup and delete last night as i dont need the 2.6gb patch if im not playing,

Had some great battles and epic moments, more maps would have been nice but it got dropped pretty quickily for BF3 development, im not sure they thought it would be the success it turned out to be

I wouldn't say its 'rubbish'. a lot of the problems that users have encountered have been fixed. I only wish it could have been released earlier so that the game would have been less frustraiting.

too late in day to be honest wish they would have done it like 6-9 months ago.

only doing it now to look as if they have fixed the game so people arnt put off bf3 .
