Oh FFS I get my second 5850 today, fancy a game of BFBC2 to test it out and there is a 2.4GB patch :mad:

May finish downloading it by Saturday, damn Sky BB :rolleyes:

It's 2.4GB?! Damn, I'm 70% done, was at about 5% on my last post so not doing too badly considering I'm on 6mb Sky BB. So much fore a quick game before bed though!

Yep, quite a sizeable patch, it would have taken me ages to download it on my connection, got my nephew to download it on his fibre connection, he lives 6 miles from me, dropped it off on a usb pen drive 15 mins later.:D

This patch is good. My FPS has gone pretty high after this.

DX11 [email protected] ghz GPU = 6950 with 2gb, system = 4gb. FPS is now hitting in the 80's @ 1920x1080

Tried Ati tray and afterburner and all give the same readings. Everything on highest but vsync is of. Last week it was low 60's now I am hitting mid 80's with full servers. Anyone else noticed the increase?

I'm looking to upgrade to a 6950 2GB soon with the same CPU, that FPS looks good to me :D

Well you wont be disappointed thats for sure. I just did a reboot just to make sure the progs were reading right and they are. Not sure what they did but thats a big increase over 55-60 what I was getting pre-patch.

I thought about htat but no other game does it, tested exstensively with, crysis, trine metro and even uningine.

What error is the BSOD throwing up? Found this on an overclocking guide for sandybridge cpu's.

BDOS CODES:
Here is a list of Common BDOS Errors and what to do to get rid of them; these suggestions are from trial and error, and many BDOSes from hundreds of hours of overclocking. I have gotten many of these BDOSes and checked them out (tried to cause them) and I have modified that list, here it is.
BSOD Codes
0x124 = add/remove vcore or QPI/VTT voltage (usually Vcore, once it was QPI/VTT)
0x101 = add more vcore
0x50 = RAM timings/Frequency add DDR3 voltage or add QPI/VTT
0x1E = add more vcore
0x3B = add more vcore
0xD1 = add QPI/VTT voltage
“0x9C = QPI/VTT most likely, but increasing vcore has helped in some instances”
0X109 = add DDR3 voltage
0x0A = add QPI/VTT voltage
