Had a little playin the nM server earlier, I got owned :D Was having fun though, until my pc froze again that is. Pay day can't come soon enough :(
 
yeah red dot is need on engie weapon, i find the x4 and the normal iron sights pretty hard to use on this class.

has everyone else given up playing? i found the battlefield3 demo utter tosh, it plays like MOH or Cod (don't flame me) would rather spend £40 on new maps for this, but guess its the end of the road for BFBC2 support now :(
 
Agree with u, if BF3 isnt a LOT better than the BETA for gameplay/gfx I can see myself sticking with BC2! At the moment I think it falls way short unfortunately.
 
People said the same thing about BC2 when it was in BETA.

I personally love BF3, even on Metro. Caspian boards is very much a BF2 map. I wont ever play BC2 again, BC2 for me felt too crappy, the hit boxing were crap so were the gun's! BF3 is where its at for me.
 
to be fair i need to give it a good blast but the beta of Metro (not played Caspian) is utter tosh, its just like MOH and feels like a console game. I would be more happy with new guns/maps/awards/bug fixes and patches for BC2. guess i don't like change that much, but i will give it a good go, i have pre ordered so i will have plenty of time to give it some!
 
I cant agree about the BC2 BETA goon, yea it was buggy but it was amazing, I couldnt get bored playing that map and c4 destruction was something so new and impressive.

I really want BF3 to be the new top game cos I miss the helis and big open maps, squadplay, etc. from BF2 but I can't understand what exactly it is that everyone likes so much about the BF3 BETA :confused: Is it just that it's better than COD and is something new or do people genuinenly feel it is a sequel to BF2? Is my PC buggered cos the gfx and sounds arent impressing me :(

I've only played 1.5 hours so far so not fair to write it off but as I don't have a lot of time to game I want to enjoy it when I do, BC2 has been fun whenever I've picked it up, tbh not played anything else since it came out.

tottally agree with you mate. Apart from the odd cheat who wrecks it for all, which to be fair can happen on any game i always enjoy a good round, but can't picture it with BF3 acarde style :(
 
Ok fair enough, every1 will have different expectations of the game i guess. I've been looking at it from an infantry point of view and to me it works fantastic!

Going off topic a little i know:

Have you guys played Caspian b?
 
DG there's a hacker in ur server called [PBBANS]MaydaX/PB. Invincible, auto-aim and wallhack.

Git was on 59/0 and caused the whole server to empty :mad: Without admin in BC2 I guess that game will die now all moved to BF3. Fortunately there were still a fair few admins in Enemy boat Spotted.

Im finding the bf3 beta to be a bit of a hybrid between bc2 and moh, but as were stuck with the metro map, (i havent played caspian). Im holding judgement till final release, tbh im finding it easier to play than bc2. But ill still be playing a bit of bc2 as i enjoy it so much.
 
Just had a half dozen amazing rounds.

Won everyone bar one and in every game was getting 20 more kills than deaths minimum. All with the shotgun and a round of 30/0 chopper kills :D

Still love this game at times!
 
No matter what happens with BF3, Win/Fail, Will always think of BC2 as a nearly perfect Multiplayer FPS!

Aww nearly got all sentimental then. (Wipes eyes) :-)
 
If you leave properly in the middle of a round (not rage quit by closing it down) does it update your stats?

Needed 24 more kills to plat 40mm GL and got 7 kills in a round with it, but then when I was checking my stats still says I need 24 kills :(

Only if you forget the lolworthy knife hitreg and bad balance between weapons (yes I'm looking at you UMP, Akaban and the entire LMG line).
