peed off is a mate saying i had that problem you need to reinstall .

so i unistall game ......... God dam ........ origin doesn't keep the installers !!!!!

I have to re download 8GB

You can change that within Origins "Settings" so that it does keep the installers ;)
 
I wouldnt uninstall, unfortunately bc2 is a pretty buggy game. When it works it's fantastic, but very frustrating when it doesnt. Bit of a flawed diamond imho, i still love it even with its faults.
 
Theres been a few issues with the game, punkbuster and running certain gpu monitoring software, ie afterburner, evga precision, gpuz are known to cause issues. Lots of server issues such as rubber banding, poor hit reg. Like i said, its not a perfect game but when it works, (about 98% of the time for me) it is a really great game.

Ah is that a bug? I have run afterburner a few times, everytime I do run afterburner the game will crash after about 10 mins. Fine without afterburner though. I thought it was me :)
 
If you want to keep afterburner running there is a fix, navigate to my computer/local disk c/program filesx86/msi afterburner. Scroll down to RTCORE.CFG, rename this file with notepad to whatever you wish, save and exit, be sure to close and restart afterburner to allow the change to take effect. This seems to have worked fine for me.

Awesome thanks very much, I will try that tonight. I like running afterburner all the time not only for fps but also for the clock. Even though I run 2 screens I always turn the 2nd screen of when gaming as it annoys me :)

I will give it a shot, thanks.
 
Punkbuster is an issue all by itself, the useless piece of crap.

Epic lols today. After doing a smoke launcher only round (which sadly made all of us better ><) we went for a tracer/gustav round and would only kill people by tracering them so we could gustav :D

Yeah and despite this I'm sure we were leading that round before we got dropped. :)
 
I sometimes wonder about the brains in developing this game.

I have just joined a game, put me on isla map with no one else in the game. Fine I think I will wait for people to join. 5 minutes later, 3 more people join, BUT it puts them all in my squad meaning no enemies yet.

So here I am, sat on Isla. 4 people in my squad and no one to shoot.

Why does it do that.....grrrrrr

Yep that auto join thing is pretty broken.

As are grenades that always bounce off open windows and land back at your feet.
