Edit: hmm dont really like hardcore BC2 - no mini map, 1 shot kills and the 3 recons per team on this server is annoying. Which normal servers do u guys play on?

Was playing this round at my parents house when visiting on my old PC (my own is dead) and remembered how much an admin can wreck this game!

Played about 8-9 rounds on the same server, stupidly unbalanced teams (about 13 50's on one side me (45) and a 50 on my team) got beat every single round horrificly fast with the admin gloating calling everyone noobs and loving it.

Next map was defenders on the Lighthouse map, getting spanked as usual until the last stage where we miraciously held out and won a round. The annoying admin on the other team helped by giving us their tank (he then kicked the person who climbed in when he jumped out in our base calling him "a tank stealing hacker noob" :rolleyes: ) but we held out and won just!

Next round starts he kicks the 50 on our team saying he was a hacker (he had a 41/34 k/d or thereabouts) even his own team were complaining saying why was he kicking him he then kicked me a few seconds later for hacking... I finished the round 36/38 k/d :rolleyes:

I should have realised what was coming how childish he was acting but I couldn't believe he actually did that :p
 
Even more reason to join a well admined server..
now where could you find one of those ? .... aaahhhhhhh oh yea :D

Thats our most popular rule TBH. 3 snipers is more than enough for any map.
 
Lol do not fear young jedi ..
It wouldnt be hardcore with all the noob attachments (minimaps ect ect ) :p
Admittedly its not for everyone but it wouldnt have got to 35th in the world if the format didnt work :D
 
Depends how you play it .. we only played 3 maps tonight and won everyone
i was attacking on Valparaiso as assault sniper got top place and got to the next to last map... then we defended and they didnt get one base ..
If your playing a team of numpties it doesnt matter what kit restrictions there are.
 
A recon isn't only a sniper! Love the load out for rushing, I'm not a stay-at-home-sniper type ;) Shame the setting has to wait until u spawn to tell u the limit is reached. Do u really find u get too many camping wookies if u don't limit it??

On hardcore BC2 it just seems like it doesn't matter which gun u take, no one gun has any different characteristics from any other. And without the mini map, (if not on comms) there is just no teamplay - every man for himself!

Totally agree with you mate.
 
I think we can all agree that the opinions on hardcore vs normal tend to be polarised :) I personally don't like hardcore but each to their own.

Recon limits are a bit cack though. Maybe it's different in HC but in normal mode you get plenty of assault recons and if I see some idiot camping up a hill/tree on the other side of the map I'll often temporarily switch over to recon so I can take him out more easily so the end result is that they are forced to move. Swings and roundabouts perhaps.

Anyhow, good games last night with the usuals :)
 
Shame I had to miss out last night, will be on tonight though. Only about 15000 points off rank 48. Getting closer to 50! I'm determined to get there, I don't think it should take more than another 20-30 hours game time to rank up to 50. Lets see how it goes.

I doubt I'll be on much until very late (if I'm on at all) as I have a few people round tonight. Maybe I'll drunkenly stagger into mumble and join in after midnight though :)
 
Will get Teamspeak installed again.

Then play this a bit more regularly although for me the hit reg is god awful now.

Need to get back into it though as its always a laugh playing with the regulars from on here.

Also, /re hitreg. The Sniper Squad server we often end up on is terrible for hit reg. We should avoid it really.
 
Mumble indeed if someone can send me the correct details!!!

Having the baby has destroyed what was left of my brain.

The reg on the servers we used to play on was rarely as bad as I experienced the other night when I was on.
