Edit: My word, everything on BF:BC2 is so much better than BF:3, granted i enjoy BF:3 but BF:BC2 is just better.

I'm going to give this another go as well.. fancy a change from bf3 and want to see what it looks like on my new gfx card...

EDIT : just seen its 8.5Gb download.. thats going to take ages on my connection :-(

Really enjoying playing this again with the usual peeps.

Pity I cant get on Mumble more often as I don't think the baby appreciates it.

Starting to get back to how I played before the baby arrived, tiredness doesn't seem to agree with me.

I might even get to level 50 before BC3 comes out!!!

For all the naysayers this ****es all over BF3 in almost every way.
 
Must get back into this, I've put 75hrs into BF3 and it just isn't fun, playing it feels like a chore. BC2 is always fun, hit reg is spot on (mostly) as fast paced as you want to make it, much better teamplay and much better knife mechanics imho. See u on the battlefield guys ;) :cool:

Oddly I prefer non-hardcore in BC2 (I guess cos it makes it feel more like a Battlefield game than a COD game) and hardcore in BF3 (couldn't put up with softcore taking up to 8 hits for a take down!).

And hooray, puts this thread on the top of my recent threads list from page 3 :D Back with the BC2 signature, add me in game guys \|/.

There are still people playing it, but only very few - you'll be able to play on a well populated server most of the time though. I'd say it's probably not worth getting it, but I've always preferred BC2 vanilla anyway.
 
Yeah don't bother with Vietnam. It was ok on release, but I never play it now, it just isn't as good as vanilla. Don't generally play HC so no recommendations.
 
Getting cold feet now.

I've got 20 weapons all sitting with one kill to go for a gold star. Which would take me to 100000 points per round.

20 kills.

I think I might need to go on a 100 kill SQDM to be certain of achieving all the kills, ut start with just 1 person in the server.

Anyone fancy being cannon fodder for me by just standing still in the server so I can accomplish the said awesome feat?
