Be patient guys, im sure this will be fixed in due time. be aware it's not officially released in our country yet and as a steam user I cant even play untill its official release date tommorow.

Sure **** will be fixed by the weekend :)

64bit OS's arn't supported by their support ? I know it will run, but they wont support anyoen running BFBC2 on a 64bit os ?
 
Everyone having connection issues, delete all trace of any beta files, then delete the pb folder out of your install directory and reinstall punkbuster via the application off their website, worked for me, not had a connection issue since.
 
Its not the fact it doesnt run ok (it probably will) it's the fact that the x64 platform isnt supported, so if u have any issues, EA wont help you.

I used the install game serial code which is 25 digits when logging online too then i used the slip code which is 20 digit afterwards when it asks for it.

From what i've read it seems you haven't done this way unless i am misunderstanding because this way should work for sure.(you have to enter the 25 digit twice,once to install the game and other when going online to get the code which is after it)

I only received an email from Play today that my copy had shipped. I'm not going to be playing tomorrow am I? Whats the average wait time for people from Play? they've not let me down before but I'm not hopeful this time...
 
Hi guys,

Ive had this since Tuesday (EA). Updated all my drivers etc but still get crazy stutter on the game. I change ym graphics settings down to low and then to high and it makes no difference. Its not the frame rate its just mega bad stutter.
 
Well it was working fine all morning with me, now I can't connect or get into a game. I blame the overloading Americans, to war!

Got any processing running in the background randomly taking high use of cpu occaionally ? real time virus scanner ? etc...
 
I was going to get it from the EA store tonight, but I think I'll wait. I'd feel dirty handing them my money with the problems people are having right now.

Cant stand that everyone has it installed and i have to wait for steam even though i ordered 5 days ago :\

Beta files are gone afaik..but I've not reinstall pb yet.
 
BTW this update 300MB? how does one get hold of it? I know its meant to prompt you but for me it never has and I think I would know if it was downloading something that size, maybe that's why I can't connect to a server hmmmm
 
Ok managed to get into a game ... game ends and Im looking at desktop ...sigh

Ive deleted the BC2 Beta folder from my doc's and also used PBsetup to update PB ... after doing this I was able to connect BUT only to some servers NOT all yet. Worth a try to any who are having probs.
 
Well im such a muppet I just tied the cd key to my old account to phoned there helpline guy was awesome and swapped it all over. :D
