Every time I have played it for the last couple of days it has been spot on, had about 1-2 disconnects total I think. So far so good!
 
I can't play conquest mode anymore, it's so boring, there's no sense of excitement, with rush you have something to work at and there's a common objective so everyone is on kinda the same level in regards to what their aim of the game is, with Conquest you run in circles like a muppet capping flags and occasionally launching a grenade at someones feet.

I guess it's the way this conquest mode is set out, in the old games it was fine, where you have 1 base which is un-cappable and the other 5 of the other team which can be taken.

If you've ordered from the EA store then they shouldn't actually be giving your key out yet because the game isn't actaully out in the UK yet. This also means that they shouldn't of taken payment yet as the games still on pre-order/pre-release.

As for server issues. We'll hopefully see them go away when everything gets opened up properly on launch day, or be lucky enough to be playing on a server thats been updated with the new server patch.

I also had no unlock key in the order from EA, so have just phoned them and said they will email it me now. Apparently they will send emails out at midnight with the keys.
 
20,908 Battlefield: Bad Company 2 players on STEAM atm, and it's not even released in all countries yet. Plus not everyone has it on Steam, no wonder why people are having problems. I bet this is giving MW2 a run for it's money player number wise.

Got the game today(pre-order from Game) and just installed it earlier. The instal process went fine but, hours later, I am yet to have a second of gameplay. In single player, I keep getting ctd during the intro video while in multi, it wont connect to any server(according to the game,they are either full or connection has been lost). What on earth is going on? I got the game to the latest update, run it as administrator and on XP SP2 mode and its still the same...anyone else getting this?

My copy from game came today. Just finished the singleplayer, thought it was really good! Great fun, and every single cut scene was entertaining. Love this game!

Thats whats getting me annoyed as well, they seem to act like they were totally unprepared for this. I could buy that IF this was their first Bf game on pc, its not so im calling bs on it. They also had ample warning when the beta servers went offline for maintainence and got slammed when they came online and had to be taken offline again for several hours. That was with so many thousand beta players, so we're clearly meant to believe that they assumed launch day would have fewer players....

IMO, no excuse. Get it fixed, sharpish. :eek:
 
So i take it theres major issues then ? and it's not even officially released in uk yet. theres steam users due to be added tonight, plus all the shops tommorow.

Not good.
