Out of interest, why is it crap compared to the PC version?

I played the PC version a lot and although I do miss the 64 player maps and planes, the smoothness and the fact it actually works and isn't a fight to get it working after an update, more than makes up for it. Plus a lot more people use headsets in the 360 version.

I agree though, COD2 is a very good game. It's just too linear and multiplayer was a joke.

Yea they do look VERY dodgy.

Jet, i noticed you play the game quite a bit, who can blame ya! Was trying to get on the same team as you but either the teams were unbalanced or you kept disappearing. :p

da_mic, sounds like your not much of a FPS fan? I've found both GR:AW and BF2:MC to be excellent. ;)

JUMPURS, logged on tonight for a quick few games and had no problems. :confused:
 
I 'might' buy this today. Can't decide yet, I loved the PC version, had some good laughs (when the team was good) so may hopefully join you guys later on - if you're all still playing it. Seems like a few are dropping out :(

Yea its very good good online! :D

a lot of people still play it, they just done post in this topic.

thing is i used to be a pc gamer, and i only played FPS, i clocked up over 1500+ hours on cod 1, played at very near the highest level without going to the LAN stage etc, cod 2 ditto, enemy terroritory as a fun bit on the side, bf2 when it came out was amazing, but it ran bad on my PC. CS spurce was *** fun 2, etc etc

now i had no issues with bf2 MC in the control sense, im not bashing pads here, i just felt both GRAW and BF 2 MC were poor games, obv i found cod 2 to my liking as it was exactely the same as the PC version.

I suppose console FPS's have a lot to live up to due to the amount i played the PC FPS's. i enjoyed PDZ on the 360 too
 
anyone want to organise getting together online on bf2 tomorrow. Hopefully if we worked together as a team could open a can of whoopass on some poor unsuspecting fools...... :D

Plus should be good for the scores and maybe some medals

Glad you bought it mate. Have you played online yet, or just the single player?
 
Just going through the single player at the mo to get used to the controls. Just finished the level with the 3 submarines to destroy, really really impressed with it.

The sniper mission was a toughy but managed it in the end.

Might have a quick online one in the early hours to see how it fairs but I'm glad I've tried it. If the graphics in GR:AW had BF2 graphics then it would be a winner 'cos I reckon the graphics in BF2 are pretty damn good. Loved the bit on the roof tops if you stood near an air vent and all the view went fuzzy.
 
Yea im stuck on the mission where you have to destroy the suicide train. I must have tried about 20 times but i still cant do it! :(

But for me, online is where its at with this game. To put it simply, its brilliant! Especially when you're in a server where your all working together and your practically destroying the other team. Theres like a real co-operative atmosphere among the players. :D

Sorry mate. Got in about 10 and started playing top spin 2. Need to get it finished. :p

We should all meet up for a game sometime soon though. ;)
