****Official Borderlands 2 Thread****

Here's a link to the 14-minute "hidden" PAX gameplay

Looks like more of the same, but better. :)

I just hope theres a little more depth to the story, and npc interactions (ah those annoying static text boxes! :(). Sure I know that's not really the focus of the game, but it would go a long way to becoming immersed in the world rather than just mindless shooting and looting.

Coop gun battles gonna be amazing :)

no **** sherlock, but it wasn't a simple affair unless you know how. It wasn't a case of just banging in FOV-90, you had to write a few lines then you had problems with it resetting when you ran. So you had to lock it to even more keys. Ended up having a confg file released :(

Still though, a FOV fixed didn't fix my issue nor did the mouse smooth. I think it's because when you run the entire game screen gives that zoom in effect.

thing is all games do it not just borderlands . it should be made a permanent option

Definite buy for me. Ive spent more time on borderlands than any other game in the last 5 years or so.

I'm wondering what they are going to do with Maya, the new siren. Her skill set can't be that much different than Lilith surely. Obviously they need to do something to make her different but lord knows what. She will probably still have phasewalk as her skill.

What I'd like to have is an elemental system that isn't absolutely ********. The Borderlands one with its hidden 'pool' and hidden stats per weapon type and things that affect those stats being extremely unclear and even the skills themselves not doing anything even close to what they describe... it was dumb and really spoilt the elemental system.
