^ exactly being spawn raped by the heli was bad enough, now there's 2 automated helis and an automated sentry to kill you. On top of that players can control the AC-130 from the sky for pin-point accuracy, aswell as pin-point accurate missile drops. And they are only the standard perks that dont need to be unlocked...


I was trying to build my new comp in time for its release. I'm not even bothered about the release now.

That and the fact that people as soon as they spawn generally just lob grenades over the map in the hope of some cheap kills. I dunno if its funny or sad but in any server i join it just seems to have a constant sound of explosions going off and not as much gunfire. Its hilarious how many think this game is the be all end all though, for consoles maybe for pc its just watered down crap.
 
"Pro Perks":
If you use a perk for so long, your perk will become a "pro" perk and become twice as effective. EX: If you get 1000 kills with Stopping Power, it then becomes Stopping Power Pro and will be twice as hard-hitting as before.

All Perks Confirmed:
- Commando (Yellow Perk) = Increased melee range.
- Sleight of Hand (Blue Perk) = Faster reloading.
- Stopping Power (Red Perk) = Increased bullet damage.
- Stopping Power Pro (Red Perk) = Increased bullet damage x2.
- Scavenger (Blue Perk) = Re-supply from dead enemies.
- Bling (Blue Perk) = Allows you to have two attachments on your gun.
- Marathon (Blue Perk) = I'm assuming run longer.
- Lightweight (Red Perk) = I'm assuming run faster.
- Steady Aim (Yellow Perk) = Increases hip-fire accuracy.
- Hardline (Red Perk) = 1 less kill required for your killstreak.
- Hardline Pro (Red Perk) = 2 less kills required for your killstreak.
- Cold-Blooded (Red Perk) = Invisible to UAV, Thermal Imagery, Sentry Guns, etc.
- Scrambler (Yellow Perk) = Scramble enemy radar.


Old/New Attachments Confirmed:
- Red Dot Sight
- EO Tech Sight
- Acog Scope
- Thermal Scope
- Laser Sight
- Heartbeat Sensor
- Silencer
- Grenade Launcher
- Master Key
- Improved Speed = No more Double Tap. It's an attachment.
- High-Cap Magazines = More ammo to waste your opponents with in your magazine. Not altogether ammo.



- Killstreaks are stackable. EX: If you get a helicopter, but had an airstrike, you can use your helicopter and then you can use your airstrike (and anything behind that).



- Shotguns & Sniper Rifles can now be silenced.



Give me a break.
 
What exactly is the point of this " hip fire accuracey" crap? The game has no bloody recoil as it is how dumbed down do they want it? Point a weapon in the general direction of enemy and he dies? Ooh and a thermal scope, im sure that will go well with the wall bullet penetration that gets so frequently abused by hackers. No need for a hack to see through walls now boys, theyve included it for you. Jesus christ....
 
steady aim, making your rectile slightly smaller, is the last thing I'm bothered about. tbh how do you pick that out from that list? A smaller rectile doesn't even make a mark compared to some of them.

2 less kills for streak rewards? As if they aren't easy enough to get already, and how much they are going to be spammed regardless.


2 attachments? Because the guns were just too hard to use with 1.


I'm just speechless at how much they can butcher what could be one of the best multiplayer fps games ever and turn it into a computer learning tool for toddlers.

True but its already ridiculously easy to kill people in the current game so this just seems to add to that.
 
Perhaps the game should come with an always on built-in aimbot, to help the console newbies aim with their crappy pads
 
new kill streaks:
4 kills- counter uav (blocks enemies uav)
5 - sentry gun (minigun dropped into nearby area)
6- predator missile (guided missile)
8- pave low (heavily armored heli)
11- AC130 (gunner on the plane in cod4)

perks
commando- increased melee distance
marathon- unlimited sprint
lightweight- move faster
scavenger- fully resupply ammo from dead enimies
hardline- killstreaks require 1 less kill
bling- 2 weapon attachments at once
cold blooded- undetectable by UAV, airsupport, sentries, and thermal

death streaks
these activate when your getting killed repeatedly without killing anyone else
copycat- 4 deaths- copies the opponents class (weapons, perks, equipment, etc)
painkiller- 3 deaths- big health boost when you spawn


weapon details
instead of cod4 choosing only secondary grenade you now choose primary equipment and secondary grenade, the equipment includes the throwing knife, frag nade, sticky nades (i think), blast shield, tatical insertion (where it lands is your next spawn point) and more
special nades are still: flash x2, stun x2, and smoke x1

tags
these are icons that appear when you kill/die to show off personal stats. loads to unlock, all just for show

Can't believe how complex this is. So much new stuff to get your head around :(
 
It's a case of "WHAT MORE STUFF CAN WE PUT IN THE GAME GUSY COME ON WE NEED NEW FEATURES" :D

Probs be good but will have huge annoyances
 
it gets worse everytime they release more info. bring back faction based weapons, no cross over weapons apart from pickups and no impossible perks if any at all. IW seem to be doing the dirty on the pc and there's now a big space in the online fps community..........if mw2 is duff. im sure the likes of pam and promod will make competitive gaming great its just public mode that will suffer.
 
On a whinge me.

It went down hill due to THREE reasons that started in CoD2.

Red dots on radar, less/no recoil and regen health. Oh might aswell add nade indicators!
