Starts Monday 7th January.
For four days in January CES descends on Las Vegas and the world’s biggest tech companies scramble
to show off their latest products, ideas and innovations.
It’s the place to spot previews and tech trends that will define the rest of the year and, with less
than two months to go, the rumours and leaks are already starting to spill.
CES started way back in 1967 as a humble trade show in New York City attracting around 100 exhibitors
and 17,500 guests. Since then, it’s swapped to Sin City and regularly pulls in well over 130,000 attendees.
Some notable CES technology launches have included the VCR, DVD and Blu-ray formats, Microsoft’s
original Xbox as well as OLED and 3DHD TVs. There was plenty of exciting kit on display at last year’s
CES and we’re expecting 2013 to be no different.
We’re expecting some lightning keynote speeches, previews of some of the hottest tech in the land and hopefully,
a couple of outrageous concepts all crammed into the four days from January 8th to January 11th, 2013.
Expected Phones:
HTC M7 - 4.7-inch 1920 x 1080, Quad Krait S4Pro, 13MP, Sense 5.0.
Sony Xperia Z - 5 inch 1080p display, S4Pro, 13MP...
What do we have here - DROOL!
I'm excited
