Does that mean you must not open Steam and play OFFLINE to avoid any issues i.e. potential account blocking by Steam?

Did anyone confirm if this is acceptable because I'm sure I've read in the past people have had accounts banned as a result of VPN use.

If you connect via a VPN, I highly doubt Steam can tell if it's a VPN, or you connecting from within that country. Never ORDER via VPN, but as the game isn't region locked, I don't see why it would be an issue.

The reason you have to stay offline, is if you reconnect to your UK ISP, the game locks itself again.

I'm hearing from some people that the mouse is really floaty and feels like mouse smoothing is locked on, anyone else feeling this?

Feels fine to me. It's definitely better than the preview build :)

Who cares about the design of the site though? lol. What does that have to do with anything is beyond me. Main things are:

Is the quality of service good? Check.
Do they have competitive prices? Check.
Do they dispatch on time? Check.

Is the site developed to be handling the transaction with my bank details safely?
Is the site storing my personal information securely?

I can't comment for shopTo having not used it, but they're both potentially higher priority to me than any of the other parts.

While it might not be the case here, sloppy work on the visible parts might accompanied by the same sloppiness on the back end.

If it's same price as a site that has the best design in the world, but the free delivery means I won't get the game before or on the day it is released, then what is the point? :D

Took me a few clicks to order the game. Would have to be a noob to find it hard to navigate their site anyway (not calling you a noob btw) ;)

Jesus do you have shares in them or something? The website is ****ing awful. I sign up, it makes me register a frigging card with them that they have to verify by charging/refunding for some stupid reason. I pressed to checkout with Paypal, it took me to the same debit card screen and made me re-enter the same details and pay with card instead.

Doesn't matter how good the service is if the website sucks balls. If I'd found a similar price elsewhere they would've lost my sale in an instant. Its the download version so I don't have to bother about delivery.

The only personal info they have on me is my name and address, they support paypal so I just pay via that anyway like I do on a lot of other sites that support paypal.

Hardest difficulty for this one me thinks, like with the first which I seem to recall was called 'realistic', or maybe I'm thinking of Far Cry.

No the first had Realistic. Tempted to go for the highest too. Aside from the god awful intro (the mouse felt wrong the whole way through it) the rest of it was simple enough depending on your approach.

It's certainly punishing. Playing it on normal difficulty (middle one) and you do die quite fast ;)

Agreed, the mouse in the intro is bad. After that, it cleans up nicely.

Wasn't there a big thing about Shopto.net and CC fraud a while back?

Just typing in shopto into google and results show 'scam' quite high in the rankings.

You are indeed correct, the site does appear to have been writting by someone with an Idoits Guide to Web Site Design & Coding, but they do offer an excellent service so much so I'm knocking on the door of there Gold Rewards scheme for some extra penny's off.

If you can look past the site then your golden.

Yeah, thought it was called something like that. I'll be playing it through on the hardest setting, which is something I don't usually do. We'll have to see how we get on. I am actually starting to get excited about this game, and that doesn't happen as often as it used to. Love a good storyline. :)

Super, I'll give that a go!

Mind explaining what aspects are better or which things have been improved on since the preview build? Thanks :D

Just general performance is better than the preview. As you would expect.

You mean they didn't fix it? ><

I don't think it was as bad as the preview in the intro. I wasn't really paying attention to it, as I'd seen that walkthrough intro a few times. As soon as you get proper control again though, the mouse feels fine.

Shares? Don't think they are on the market, so that would be a no.

I just don't get the problems people are having, I have never had and issue with them in years. Seriously, a few clicks and my preorder was done. No idea what you are on about mate :)

With shopto's download preorder, do they send you the code now so you can start pre-loading? Or do they send you the code on release so I then have to wait for it to download too?

I just told you them. The website was designed by people who failed there website design course.

Seems it waits till release. Not ideal but I'm sure I can wait while steam downloads.

I'm more concerned over the total lack of confirmation email...

Well that is your opinion. Works for me and many others here. The way you are going on about it, makes it sound like it's so crap that it's nearly impossible to order from them which is simply not true. In my opinion it is no harder to order a game from them then any other store :D
