except everything EA releases gets dropped as soon as a sequel or addon (that you dont buy) support wise. Like bf2.

EA games will mean the game gets very little support, even worse than what Ubisoft did for Farcry.

IMO FarCry recieved a massive amount of support! They released the SM3 patch for it and all... Major official patches 3yrs after release? Name me a few games :eek:

that was all crytek. EA had nothing to do with it.

now that EA have taken over, its gonna go downhill. iv got a bad feeling that EA will want to do a bf2 on this game. :mad:

Well, judging by the way that this game has been delayed since being taking over by EA, I imagine that Crytek are still very much in control of the game. Hopefully they will make sure this doesn't turn this into a classic EA title.

Go on then, what exactly have the 'taken over'? They're publishing the game, but as far as I'm aware, CryTek are still the developers and are calling the shots; unless ofcourse you actually have some evidence to say other-wise? Or are you just enjoying the ride of the bandwagon?

I personally think if I was working at Crytek I would be extremly happy EA putting so much money into the company. EA have pumped absloutly millions into making the CryEngine 2.0 and making Crysis itself. Nothing wrong with a multi-billion dollar company supporting one of my favoriate games developers.

And I seriously hope EA do make the new Battlefield for PC (bound to happen at some point with Bad Company being the consoles) on CryEngine 2. Would be superb.

Some guys here need to stop jumping on the "we hate EA bandwagon" fyi EA have left crytek well alone with this and have sat back and done nothing but pump millions after millions into the engine and game. Rock on I say I doubt many other publishers would have been so quick to pump this amount in constantly :eek:
