I’m a win away from Div 5. Had a horrendous run on Sunday like 10 straight defeats I wasn’t a happy camper to say the least!

It must be about that time of year where I ask what formation are people playing? I seem to get the best results from 4231 but I hate myself for playing it :(

I have tried those as well, but I find them fairly generic and boring to play if I am being honest. Still playing around with 352 and False 9 formations.

55 -1 - 2 is a decent record, is that all in division rivals?

Certainly think its a tougher game to get to grips with this year. Enjoyable but I just need to keep reminding myself of that when I am getting hammered 6 nil.
 
Had an atrocious start to Champs playing 422 or 4231, I was something like 1 -7. Managed to played around with formations and settled on the below, somehow rescued 11 wins :) (I didn’t make them)

Seems to give you passing options in the middle of the park, the wide players are always an out ball. Helps if you have long passing playstyle in the middle, I have Kimmich. Hope someone finds them useful.

Ohhh you mean the apostrophes, it was the formatting. It meant don’t forget about the sideline play if or when the opponents goes constant pressure. I have had some good results from it, gone from having a difficult time in Div 5 to being on the verge of promotion to Div 4

Are you still playing on old gen or have you moved to the current gen?

Like if the ball goes out for a goal kick, the next 5-10 seconds of gameplay is noticeably less smooth until it does finally smooth out. If I remember correctly that has something to do with the hypermotion overlay, you can turn it off in the settings.
 
Riise for me.... least he has the PowerShot trait! :cry: Still loving the 3421 & 3142 switching the play with a CM/CB with long pass playstle is immense fun. Although you do need strong LM and RM to make it work.
