Guys, will these time trials go on beyond abu dhabi after the F1 championship is over or are you planning to end it there?

I hope it keeps going, I would suggest who ever wins abu dhabi picks the next track, or we could work bacwards from suzuka since thats where we started.

Yeah, that would be cool. I only bought the game for the forum TT's. Want my money's worth and some sort of podium place in a few weeks after enough practise :D

Maybe during the off season, we could have a championship with tracks in the wet. Maybe get a google spreadsheet of the fastest times, then award points - same as in the real championship, so we can see whos best on the forum.

The winner Abu Dhabi TT will select the car/track/weather that we will be using for a week.

I think it will be a lot more interesting if one car is used instead of having it all cars are used.

I would be very happy with this, everybody uses the Mclaren because it's the fastest by miles, would be very good to TT the slower cars.

I think weekly TT is probably beter anyway, two weeks of pounding brasil will do wonders for our leaderboard epeen but not much for excitement. Also would prefer having a set car since the mclaren is getting a bit boring now.

Never realised how much faster the McLaren was. Did a 1.07.674 in it, where my best in carreer with lotus was 1.11.9

FINALLY into the 1.06's.

1. Time: 1:06.764
2. Car: McLaren
3. View: T-Cam
4. Controller: Thrustmaster Force Feedback Ferrari wheel
5. Assists Used: None except racing line. Manual gears.

The patch shouldn't make any difference to laptime, should it?

Fantastic lap by the way Mr.F.

Not really but it thought the patch screwed up the late braking for me but it was just in my head, once i got around it my laptimes started to drop again.

Just like the days of Need for Speed Shift. We did something similar. Winner picked track and car/setup. Everyone raced with said setups to see who was fastest. So yeah a big THUMBS UP from me :D

Truly awesome lap Mr F!

Question about braking: does the way you change down the gears affect the braking distance you require? i.e. should I be changing down the moment I slam on the gears and change down evenly, or should I wait a bit and then change down quickly? Also I've seen some people in videos changing up the moment the rev lights (on the steering wheel) hit the right rather than waiting for them to blink, is it better to change earlier like this?

Thanks. :)

Oh and here's my rubbish time so you can see I need the help! :p
