**** Official Fallout 4 MODS Thread ****

Download Nexus mod manager, then on the download pages for mods, click the 'download with manager' button, and then you can install them into your game with a click of a button inside the manager. Job done.

Thankyou, does the mod manager override original files forever or back them up ?

I believe it backs them up, as you can also uninstall the same mods with just a click and the game will run normally. Don't go chopping and changing mods in a single save file though as some things can become dependencies.

Yes would be a good idea. I always used to get the message in Skyrim - this save relies on files that are no longer in place. It never caused an issue though?

Im supprised NMM doesnt make a backup save everytime a new mod is added/changed/etc..

I hope there is a mod that will add prebuilt settlements to the game. The building aspect is my least favourite thing in Fallout 4. Having to build things everytime you clear a settlement is just frightfully tedious.

This mod might be something for those of you that like Castle, not been there myself yet though. Also, it was just recently released so no clue how it working but thought I post it here incase someone be interested in it. :)

Not sure what it does exactly, sounded like the settlement thing, where you can remove dead trees, cars and so on. Or atleast that how I read it. *shruggs* might be wrong though, wont be the first time. :p

What Mod Manager are people using? I'm at the point where I could use one as I have about 40+ mods, mainly textures, installed.

Nexus Mod Manager for now until Mod Organizer has been reconstructed to support 64 bit games. Once that done I am going to switch. :)
