**** Official Fallout 76 Thread ****

Well that didn't take long today. About 2 hours. All dailies and weeklies that are achieveable in 1 day (minus the raid.. bleh) are done, as are all the mini season ones. Which enabled me to get to Rank 93 too.

Oh, and now at 133 of 145 intel cases located.
 
LVL 82 now.
All possible daily & weekly done including the mini season!

Thanks a lot Amazon for putting Season 2 EP 2 8am today instead of 2am when I set my alarm for :rolleyes: :(
 
Rank 95 right now. Should hit 100 on Tuesday, then the grind starts with the complete 3 events being the only bonus score you can get. Been doing a lot of grunt hunt bounties, but I don't think they count as events.

Was massively overweight yesterday and couldn't figure out why. Scrapped all the legendaries, emptied all my excess food and ammo....

Turns out the wrapping paper weighs 1 each... And Bethesda has given away a lot recently. Oops. So I've made a lot of gifts and opened them all and got nothing of note.
 
Another Christmas with flu, my house is like a walking dead episode but with a lot more mindless moaning. I’ve not even turned my pc on for a week or so, apologies to @Coolasmoo for not showing up.

Hoping to get back on for a bit tomorrow, I was just getting back into it too.

Are these only "public" events? Or does any event count. I.e. could you sit through easy solo-able stuff like 'Bots on parade' if you wanted too? I hope so. I might go back and try to solo a load I've not touched in years. I did monster mash a couple of weeks ago to get some candy. And whilst that's a terrible example due to how long it takes, I'd almost forgotten it existed.

Yesterday I saw a couple of people just stood there doing nothing through Eviction notice. An event that's awful when there are 15+ people trying to shoot stuff, but often awesome when there are 3-5 people fighting to keep the scrubber up. I think I've seen that behavior in the past at the end of seasons. People just trying to time their arrival around 30 seconds before a public event is finishing.

I've never even considered pushing past 100 before. And I don't think I ever will again after this season. As a non 1st player I can't 'run West Tek'. But I'm wondering if I might actually accrue score almost as fast post 100 as before it. As event's are pretty much why I continue to play the game anyway.

I think it's only public events that apply sadly.

Used to be the Skyline Valley Caravans that were popular to do, now it may be the head hunts. Especially as you can get the wanted posters from doing the grunt hunts.

Idle people at events... Hate them, not as much as people who camp the spawn points (especially at eviction notice) Have seen people with PvP turned off using weapons with knockback to move out of the event area so they don't get any of the rewards. Funny way to deal with it. ;)

its cheapo for the hours you put in it
questlines alone will be enough for value.
Game still bit buggy but since i did the beta 7 years ago game has matured enough today and why i got it on sale a few days ago.
Looks really good in hdr oled 4k even with the low level texturing
 
It's the best value I have had in a game for my time vs enjoyment.

I know FO1st plays a part, however when big updates drop its not too bad dropping a month or two on 1st for the amount of hours you can put into it.

I have spent hours and hours trying to find all the Abraxodyne caches, the random encounters and exploration was brilliant though.
 
LVL 95 now done all weekly & daily challenges possible.

Have loads of tickets left for the scoreboard items I actually want. Also bought some cool stuff from the Atomic shop while its on sale!

Season 2 EP3 is a bit weak this morning saw that soon as it dropped 8am...they should have released the entire season at once not weekly :(

Really struggling with those cases, some drive me loopy when I can hear then but can’t find a way to get to them….good fun though.

Try this its absolutely fine if your stuck.


download the mod then extract to
"steamapps\common\Fallout76\Data"
then go to
"C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Fallout 76"
open/create "Fallout76Custom.ini"

If I get totally stuck I will, right now I’m strangely enjoying the challenge, another few days and I’ll be hearing beeps in my sleep though.
