**** Official Fallout 76 Thread ****

LVL 168 now.
All daily & weekly's done (took 3 hours this time.....usually only takes me 1 hour!).
Got all mini season rewards & finished all Week 2 challenges also!

That new Responder ambulance in the atomic shop is well worth buying for 500 atoms it also has 4 lights on it looks really cool especially in low lighting conditions!
 
Had a slight issue with a deadded monitor. Absolutely no response to power. Oh well, it was a a free one the other half got from work when she started working from home. Will see if she can send in a request for a new one. ;) Ended up with a very old AOC screen, and then switched to a very large VR screen. :D Really should look at the VorpX mod to make it properly 3d.

Got to Rank 190 tonight. Might actually hit 200 this season. Also got to level 800.

Didn't take long to do all the Week 2 challenges. Green Thumb was extremely helpful.

I got an 85" mega TV a few months ago :D Fallout 76 is mind blowing on that display so epic to experience!
 
Did about 3 hours of grunt hunts and then head hunts whenever I got a wanted poster.

Did a couple of the head hunts solo. Might be one of the tougher things in the game right now.
 
Not bothering with the hunts anymore the rewards are weak for the time sink required to get the lot & how many caps you need to spend on wanted posters! Might join someone else's but not starting my own @ 5K caps per poster!

You need to complete 786 hunts to unlock those floating balloon power generators its ridiculous they do not even look good!

Grunt hunts are free and it seems that I get a wanted poster for a full on headhunt every 3 or 4 grunt hunts. I think I still have 30ish wanted posters in my stash.

Quick travel to the location, 2 shots with the bow, loot corpse, jump back to the bounty board, rinse and repeat.
 
I was a bit shocked how quiet it was yesterday evening. I hopped a few servers around the public event times and even with hard events no-one turned up. I even launched a nuke and at first no-one bothered turning up for the scorchbeast queen. What do people do for endgame events?

Im taking a small break from the game, feel a bit burned out after the season(s) im sure it will pick back up in March

Towards the end of the season it always goes really quiet as most players have had enough of the grind!
 
It's everyone's favourite, Fasnacht, again today. That should bring the players back for a week or two. People seem to go absolutely mental for these masks.

It's usually like that towards the tail end of the seasons. Once you've completed the scoreboard, unless you really enjoy the nitty gritty of camp building, there's not too much to occupy a full time hobby. March is the new season and it'll be lively again then.
 
Done a few Fasnachts (4 I think) and I got a glowing mask in the 2nd one. Got the Glowing Robot. It's not a bad looking mask. Already seen a couple of people with the new masks. the Skull looks good.

Looking at Nukanights, they have reduced the chance of getting a glowing mask from 0.25% to 0.227%. Lovely.

Also, got to rank 204 with the weeklies. :D
 
Reduced my chance of ever getting those new masks. I am not doing the event anymore LOL :p

Did 1 Fasnacht last night got nothing new so as I cba to buy them all on ebay (yes people are openly selling them all already!) I can live without them as no display space to store and show them off anyway!
 
The new Necron looking mask is great in the glow form but odds of getting it.. even if you somehow cram it every hour. I think it’ll stay a dream.
 
Here's an interesting Fasnacht thing... now the masks are dropped as loot by the final boss monster, they can despawn and leave a little pile of loot, which includes masks... :eek:

Guess what I've been server hopping and farming. ;)
