Can someone explain to me the Thiago Silva (84) love? I have had him many times and re-bought him again as so many here rave about him but I just find him lacking every time I use him.

I had the same issue with Lucio when I first got him in as the center CB, they both stray out of position and leave a gapping hole behind. Nesta on the other hand sits where he should and is as solid as a rock.

Well the love is for the 86 pace but I've consistently had in defence and I don't see much wrong with him
 
someone here posted a link to all his stats last time this discussion popped up , they are all ridiculously high... to the extent that he should probably be an 86 or something

i dont really like him either though...
 
looks good to me, how are u finding 3412... playing against 433 should give u some trouble!

I am currently playing 4231 but I have to admit 3412 looks good for attacking, just not sure about defence.
 
Beaten on penalties twice in two games, **** off!

topher, 4312 vs 433 is a write off, against a competent player, you have pretty much no chance.
 
Ta, Essien one was made sweeter by the fact he was chopped down and injured about 5 mins before, turned out to be a leg injury, too, guess it didn't show up there!

Just grabbed Ronaldo again, think I'll get rid of Villa for a while!
 
Just played the best team I've ever come up against. Playing 4-3-1-2, this was his team....

RB: IF Dani Alves
CB: IF Puyol
CB: IF Pique
LB: IF Ramos
CM: IF Ozil
CM: IF Xavi
CM: IF Iniesta
CF: IF Villa
ST: IF Messi
ST: Ronaldo

I was using my Ligue 1 team, so fear the worst. Turns out all he could do was pretty tricks, and not defend. Ran out a very comfy 2-0 winner :D

IF Pique I would kill for he seems to have doubled in price lately.
