Doing a beginners tourny last night with my mostly bronze spanish team, was getting torn apart by some guy with mostly silver. It was 0-0 but he was all over me. I scored one goal just before half time, and then 6 more in the second half. 7-0 final result :D

im on psn, but im out all day today, leaving soon, i'll play you once in a while type of thing but not repeatedly, playing a friend doesnt get you any coins, so its like a practice mode, for trying something new.

Trying to get into UT but have a few questions:

1) All the coaches seem pointless? Only add extra bonus to the consumables so is there any point having them if you dont use the consumables (only used the healing ones)?
2) Are there international badges/kits?
3) Im trying to get a 4222 Villa side together - is there any real loss in me fielding non-4222 players or players out of position if my chemistry is 100?
4) Follow on from the previous question, should I bother to change my CMs into CDM/CAMs with position cards to fit the form? Noticed its cheap going CM>CDM/CAM but definitely not the other way round so dont want to waste coin...
5) Is there anyway of making LM/LWs into CAM/LAM? If not does it matter if the player is a LW or LM trying to fit into a CAM position?

Make sure your manager is the preferred formation.

3) Yes you can have 11 chemistry for each player which is the best, but if they are 9 chem already probably not worth it

Cheers guys,

So if Ive already got a 100 chemistry team theres not much wrong with playing someone like A. Young/Downing as a CAM - I presume them not having a 11 Chemistry doesnt make a jot of difference to their performance.

Will looking into CAM/CDM changes as its obvious that players like Petrov are CDMs and it annoys me not having that little green boot :p

I'll add you both at some point for the occasional game... I also didn't realise you didn't get coins for playing friends, although it does make sense as it would be open to abuse.

The coaches are not pointless at all, if the coach has the correct formation to your team, it is +10 chemistry, and it is always +1 chemistry for each player the same nationality as your coach.
 
Are we talking about coaches or managers now? Didnt notice if the Head, GK, Physio or Fitness coaches having any attributes :confused:

Contracts confuse mee, when a player has like 2 contracts, does that mean 2 games? It's massively annoying my players keep running out of contracts :( How are you suppose to get a nice stack of coins if you have to keep buying contracts?

Also im guessing the difference between bronze/silver contracts etc is how long they last?
Last question, I have a gold fitness card, is it worth anything/any good?

Save up and buy a cheap gold team. Gold player cards can be discarded for 300 coins, so every time a player runs out of contracts just discard them and buy a new player.

Surely a new gold player costs more than 300 coins though?

Humm seems like you have to spend real money to get a gold team pretty much? How cheap is a cheap gold team?
This is my current team:

Slowly swapping the bronzes out for silvers. Am I going about this the right way? Should I just try and get a gold squad asap? How cheap are cheap gold squads?
 
Seriously you can put together an all gold squad from most leagues for next to nothing.

6k coins would fill 11 positions, subs bench and a manager all in the same formation with 100 chem. It would take a little patience to get all same formation but it could definitely be done.

They wouldn't be the best players by any means, but there are some bargains to be had for 300/350 coins.
