When your players run out of contracts you can't play with them or have them on the bench until you buy more contracts for them. A contract is used whenever a player makes an appearance. So if you bring a player on as a sub both the substitute and the player being subbed will have used a contract.

The other cards are self explanatory, the fitness restores your players stamina as fatigue carries over from match to match, the heal cards heal injuries depending on which injury you have.
 
So out of nowhere; who is everybody's favourite player on UT then? I'd probably have to go with Daniel De Rossi in Serie A. Absolutely solid, can blast shots from anywhere, unsure of why he is an 83 rating.

Great call.

Its tough but for me the player that has always performed for me is Shaun Wright-Phillips. Followed closely by Adam Johnson and then 84 Cavani.
 
SWP always seemed faster than anyone for me, was pretty impressive, just run straight towards someone then just a simple roulette round them. And yeah Cavani, well, I think everyone on this forum loves him.
 
lopez for me. Its a shame I dont play with him caus I dont have my ligue 1 team, but damn that guy knew how to dribble, turn and his finneshots just outside the box were disgustingly good. Always played him on the left off attack, and for alittleish guy he always won headers.
 
Hi, I only have a PC and since Ultimate Team is coming to PC for FIFA 12, I was wondering what it exactly was.

I have always been interested by this thread. Is it just a card trading game but for footballers?

Best player, all round for me its probably been Kaka, has a lot of silent time, but stands out so well at times played him as CAM, CF, LM, CM and he always does a great job, thunderous shots, great passing, pacey enough, gets into space and still comes back to help.
 
I have many top players to be honest. Agbonlahore is up there at the top along with Milito, Ribery and Robben. There my top 4 players

I prefer him over Cambiasso. A proper box-to-box player.

My favourite player is Hernanes. I had the UP version and then bought the TOTY version who I think it great. Good pace, good passing, holds the ball well and can score a mean finesse from LCM.

Should keep ya going, then upgrade the defence to IF's ;)

Villa is a good shout, haven't tried him yet, haven't been impressed with Forlan. is 85 Ozil any better than Aguero though, cos Aguero is a beast and 86 Ozil is about 100k

Xavi is a bit slow and his defence isn't great for a CDM. Javi Martinez is an awesome player for the coins as well. I think Villa is the next target and then IF Benzema after that, I had him on my list :)

Ronaldo.... yeh, whatever. Only if I get him in a pack :p

Is Casillas any better than IF Lopez? IF Lopez has proved to be an awesome keeper!
 
If he's good then don't waste stupid monkey on Casillas. I've made the mistake of paying 30k for him and expecting to never concede a goal. You get complacent when you have him in net.
 
Don't get rid of 85 Aguero for 85 Ozil, hell not even for 87 Ozil, if you wan tto upgrade there, save & get 88 Aguero for about 165K.

Xavi is brilliant for me, play him as a defensive based CM in 4-4-2, he goes back and kaka stays more midfield, really works well and I hated TOTY Javi Martinez, something just didn't work out AT ALL!

Casillas is, in my opinion, no way better than TOTY Lopez, Lopez is amazingly good lower rated sure but his 4" extra height helps him out a lot (See my Pique video earlier on, where Casillas missed it, Lopez wouldn't have I don't think!) and I just found him a lot better! Does he concede, sure who doesn't...but he feels and plays MUCH better!

Plus, why lose Xavi when he scores like this at times :D (He scored this this morning)
