He might mean with the boosting cards on them too. In which case, just a temporary boost to the players ability via placing an attribute/all card on him.
 
Anyone wise to Serie A, spec me a team for 1.6mil? Not sure who to go with, would welcome suggestions, especially upfront, can't decide between 2 out of IF Ibra, TOTY Eto'o, TOTY Cavani, TOTY Pato..

Standard:

These are just your regular cards, nothing special about them.

Rare:

EA deem the shiny cards as rare even though they're anything but. Some cards have a rare and non rare version I believe.

In Form:

These are players who have performed well over the past week/season. There's a team of the week and a team of the season, players who are in one of these will be all black with a permanent stat boost over the regular normal or rare cards.

Boosted:

These cards have been given a temporary stat increase by the owner. Note the little box around the OVR rating and the HEA rating. Someone has applied a heading card to VDV to make his heading better, this only lasts for one game and then he'll return to be a "rare" shiny again.

Hoping to have the coins for Villa tomorrow to partner Soldado. Then I think I'll give Xavi a try, but I don't like the look of his stats.

After that the next move is for IF upgrades which average around 200k :( Or I ditch la liga and try something new...

I love him, great defender, strong, good in the air, gonna miss my BBVA team, but no doubt will be back to it in a few weeks!

Pique, Ramos & Abidal have all sold, up to 1.35mil, now just to decide on Ronaldo's fate!

What don't you like about Xavi's stats? He is fast enough for CM play, great accurate passing, good defensive skills when it counts, great stamina, very good all around player.

The only thing I don't find worthwhile is his IFs, the 91 felt the same as the 87 to me!
 
Xavi is good in CDM for me. Only played one game but he manages to get forward really well.

Also, Tim. Your Ronaldo has performed absolutely appallingly against me. Hasn't scored one I don't think. Get rid, get Messi. ;)

What's his def stat (can't bring it up now)? From memory it seemed to be quite low. I like my CDM's to really hassle the opposition.

I'll give him a try and see how he performs, players often surprise you :)

Had messi probably 7-8 times, always want him then never get along with him, too fragile for me!

Ronaldo does do well for me, just not against you, I think he thinks you smell! :p

He's no Diarra, but he can get back and get stuck in! Defense is 73, so not too bad...
 
Anybody used IF Chiellini (87 rated)? He's pricey from what I can see he's pretty pricey (upwards of 390k) but stats look pretty beastly.

Having a look on the EA Forums and by all accounts the IF isn't worth the extra over the NIF...? Any truth in that? After some stuff sells I should have about 145k in the bank so if he's not worth it'll splurge it on a ST, maybe TOTY Cavani!

Anyone used him?

IF Chiellini is meant to br amazing, but then again, so if NIF Chiellini and he can be had for about 3k, its 120x price for about a 10% increase, if that!

TOTY Cavani is meant to be excellent, all 4 big Serie A strikers (TOTY Cavani, TOTY Eto'o, TOTY Pato and IF/TOTY Ibra) are all awesome and very tempting, but not a chance in hell you'll pick up TOTY Cavani for 140K, more like 295-300K.

Oh yeah I know i'm never gonna get him for 145k, I was just saying that's what I have on me atm. Will save up and get an IF ST I think....Ibra is definitely out of my price range :D

Yeah NIF Chiellini is beast, so not quite sure whether 400k on a defender is going to be well spent or not....!
