I won the cup the other night. It helped me fund for Villa otherwise I wouldnt have got it. Played some other kid in the final. Had a 79 rated team and beat me 2-1. he deserved it though, couldnt string two passes together :(

I messaged the kid saying this is why i normally play UT and he said that was the first time he ever rage quit. I checked his player hub, played 700 games and his DNF was 36%. I said he was a lier to which he replied how do you know that. Think people forget you can check their player hubs on normal xbl.

i have IF Buffon and he pulls off some crazy stuff sometimes, he is slow though, so thats the only weak part of his game. He is taller than Cesar so he is better for saving finesse shots, free kicks, etc.

depends on your style of play IF Pato has pace and there are different IF versions, IF Fabiano is well rounded, so both offer something different, plus they are the top 2 brazilian strikers, none of the others come close.

TBH i see your weak spots as being the LB, CM's (they are slow and not good at defending apart from IF Motta and cambiasso) and your LW, maybe get IF Ramires, he is amazing as CM, or Alves as your LB (he is a RB).

its confusing you have a serie A team but are asking for brazilian players. pick one or the other or try a hybrid but with a hybrid you wont get the best players due to it being so hard to connect them. i would do 2 teams:


Bastos or IF Nene or Ronaldhino --- IF Fabiano --- Pato

IF Ramires -- IF Motta -- Kaka

Alves -- UP Silva -- Lucio -- Maicon

Cesar

and


Di Natale or maybe someone better if there is? -- Ibra -- IF Krasic

IF Inler --- Cambiasso -- IF Totti or Sneijder or IF Lavezzi

TOTY Balzaretti -- TOTY Nesta -- Chiellini -- Santon

IF Buffon


then alternate teams every match, so 1 team is always at 99 fitness, you will need to buy injury cards though if they are injured for more than 1 match.

i found Gustavo to be good when he was in the right place at the right time, but he was hardly ever there. he goes missing a lot. unlike diarra or cambiasso, who seem to be the top 2 CDM's you can get they are always in the right place at the right time. IF Ramires makes up for going missing with pace, Essien didnt really impress me either for his stats, he seems to only work well when he is in the right place at the right time too, although again he can make up for it with pace.

you want a player to have the "tactician" trait if he is playing CDM, therefore he breaks up play and catches loose balls without you needing to do anything. the only 2 decent ones i know of are diarra and cambiasso, i wish i knew more.
 
its so hard to recommend players because what player works for you, probably wont for others, im thinking of switching Menez (750 coins) in CAM for 86 Etoo CAM, but i dont know whether or not Etoo will do a better job because Menez works so well for me, i have already tried SIF Totti, Sneijder, Pandev, etc. I find Menez does the job i need him to do in that position better than all of them.
 
Going to construct an interesting team. Can you guys recommend me a decent Brazilian CB apart from Silva and Lucio?

that team isn't well balanced imo.

95% of your budget has went on 3 players, your RB and your CB's.

i'll be honest with you though, brazil is a good cheap team to start off with, but when you start going for their expensive players, the team isn't worth it.

for example i used to use:

Fabiano -- Nilmar

Nene ---- Elano

Ramires --- Anderson

Filipe -- Silva -- Luiz -- Rafael

Alves


for a budget team they were good, as i started to buy in more talent, the expensive players didnt seem worth it, they lack decent cheap strikers (benzema, anelka, dzeko, milito, etc are all 10 times better) so i decided to ditch and go Serie A, then i also tried out, Liga BBVA, Bundesliga, EPL, etc and still couldnt find a team as solid as Serie A, so i made 2 teams, one Serie A and one Hybrid with a Serie A defence.

they excel at CAM's with Kaka (expensive), Diego and Elano, etc.

CDM's are poor, IF Gustavo (goes missing at times) and IF Ramires (loves to run) are the only real options (IF Motta is crazy expensive).

RB's - Alves and Maicon are too expensive compared to the rest of the team, its not a major position so to invest all of your money into Maicon is crazy when other positions need strengthening.

CB's - only 2 good ones, Lucio and Silva, the rest get annihilated against any decent player.

LB's are all poor apart from Filipe, who isn't anything amazing.

If you remember your game against me, I know what I'm talking about. So Brazil is good if on a budget, but not when you have a lot of money to spend.

I suggest you try a Hybrid, i'll tell you who links well.

Diego -> Dzeko (wolfsburg)
Kaka -> Benzema
Ramires -> Anyone in EPL (Nasri, etc)


e.g.

Dzeko -- Anelka

Diego -- Nasri

IF Gustavo -- IF Ramires

Filipe -- Lucio -- Silva -- Alves

That looks like a much more rounded team IMO. What is your budget? I play 4222 so i always suggest 4222 lol, sorry if that is a problem.

if you can't afford the above team then ditch IF Ramires for normal Ramires or Anderson and ditch Lucio for Luiz (his old version, benfica i think can be found for crazy cheap at times so dont always go to the chelsea version). Maybe even ditch IF Gustavo for normal Motta

I already had those defenders. Just put together the rest of team with a 10k budget. Only built it so I can give my serie a team a rest.

I have no coin.
 
Right, who would you go for on my next team, going for 4-3-1-2 (Will be customised to 4-1-3-2 to need 2 attacking winger-esque CM's and 1 Defensive.

EPL based, only player I'm decided on so far is TOTY Tevez for ST, who is roughly 280k, so we have 700K for the rest of the team, was thinking:

Tried a slightly different approach, waiting on a few more people to sell and until then I'm stuck on 89 chemistry, need to find a way to make Danny less of a chemsitry destroyer!

Once my 100k or so players have been sold, Berbatov will be in correct formation, and Danny will probbaly be replaced with 88 Robben if I can afford him!

Parker will fall back to just centrally infront of the defenders, VDV goes central as a CF and pushes up with Young & Danny.

Was tempted to go 5-2-1-2 and convert to advancing 5-3-2 with Vidic, TOTY Kompany & SIF Samba as CB's! :o

Up for a game anyone?
