Tip. Never being keeper out. Mine rushed out stupidly by himself for your 3rd goal, I was annoyed. You always bring him out, just leave him in then I have more pressure to do something instead of curling one round him.
 
I always tap to bring mine out slightly - sometimes it hurries a shot or adds indecision when to shoot. Keeping the GK in goal makes within the box angled finesse shots so easy IME...

TBH mixing the response also helps too - I just hate when the CPU brings out the GK when I dont want it to...

Good game there Tim.

That freekick was lush. Had more curve on it than a banana.

No idea how my 2nd goal snuck in or what your keeper was doing on the 3rd? :confused:
 
gg matey, your 2nd was total :o moment but looked nice enough, think on the 3rd the keeper was just watching Franky do the Tango with himself :(

Freekick did make me smile, good on Ronnie :D
 
Aye it was a lush freekick with him.

I couldnt believe the 2nd had went in and the 3rd I was trying to get space but your defender wouldnt leave me alone :p then I seen the keeper off his line

its just as easy to score against a keeper who is on their line, you either smash it past (placed shot) or curl it it past (finesse shot) depending on the angle your at and where the keeper is.

depending on how early you see the through ball (ball hasn't been played yet but you know its coming) you can bring keeper out and its a rush to get to the ball first.

or you can fake bring him out, hold triangle for a few seconds then let go, enough to put the guy off and hit a shot earlier than normal.

but in most cases a one on one should end in a goal either way, far too easy to score, especially with finesse around the keeper.

basically you need to predict what the other guy is going to do and see the best way to stop it from happening.

Lavezzi is getting better & better for me, think this is the team I have gotten along with the best, if I could only find away to slip IF Ribery in where Rinaldinho is without sending the chemistry to hell an leaving him on about 3 chem! :(

Loving how well Chiellini & TOTY Ranocchia (All 6"5 of him) are working, especially watching Maicon & Ranocchia squash Young (in many matches vs epl teams!), IF Cambiasso & TOTY Hernanes hold CDM roles together well, but still get up there well, just aint had much of a chance to release a Cambiasso cannon of late :(

One thing that did make me laugh, you had cole up top on the ball and the commtary goes "I think Ashley Cole is in position to shoot now" ..

Think he's done enough shoting for this year, my poor work experience ball boys ran for their lives!!

Yeah I no. Thought Id scored for you clear it off the line, for you to then hit it of ferdinand and then for it to hit your defender and go in. I actually started laughing.

Yeah thing is, when carrol was on all the balls were going to the right and I couldnt hit them so brought on Agbon and they all go to the left and I have the same problem.

Going to bed as I have to be back at work at 12. Not even 12 hours between shifts :( Will give you a few more tomorrow night!
 
I just played my first few games of FIFA 11 since Oct/Nov last year. Played head to head on Xbox Live. The three different guys I played against all played as Chelsea.

How ridiculously good is Chelsea in this game? Cech saves EVERYTHING, the rest of them are fast, strong and stick out a foot to tackle every time.

And, sorry for not reading this thread, but there appears to be a new option on my home screen. What is the "Ultimate Team" malarky?
