*** Official FIFA 12 Thread ***

Hi all.

Recently purchased FIFA 12 through origin (50% off + found a further 20% off code = £11.99).

Really enjoying the Ultimate team bit but cannot log into the web interface.

I log in but get a message saying......

To further secure your Ultimate Team account, we ask that you set up a Security Question and Answer on console (returning FUT users, you need to do this too).


I have searched through every in game option but cant find any option to set the security question.

Help me please :D

Fine for me. It stuttered a bit at first but after opening up some ports on my router it is now fine.

There's maybe the odd game where there's a bit of stutter - but I think that's down to being paired up against someone with a laggy connection due to me picking a 3 star team and there being a shortage of opponents on the same level.

Never have the issue if I go a 5 star team since every noob under the sun picks Barcelona or Real Madrid.
 
I am actually quitting FIFA Ultimate team. If anyone has a spare steam gift lying around, we can swap with my whole team. My players have got to be worth at least 300k gold coin, maybe more. Got the likes of van persie, silva, casilla, fabrigas, villa, tevez, pique etc...
I built it up pretty much through trading a lot. Was fun for a few months buying low, selling high :p
Post here and send an email to my trust if interested :D

I also have a fair few Jack Wilshere's. I am happy give these out. Can do one a day for 7 days ;)
 
I have to admit Trance, I am a bit tempted at that offer, but I have to remind myself that I don't have the willpower not to get sucked into something like UT. I suffered enough with Pokemon in my childhood...

Heh. I know exactly what you mean. A friend was sucked into that. His other half and friends used to call him GameBoy. lol. I think it was in the GameBoy Advanced times. You used to get the crystal version and what ever version of Pokamon. I never really got into that. But I have been sucked into many diferent games, just no mmo's. Those guys who play mmo's are on another level. lol.

Anyway, if you fancy a free Wilshere, let me know :)

PS UT is nowhere near as addictive, but still is a bit ;)
 
If anyone is thinking of giving up on UT I would be more than happy to take any coins, players or consumables you no longer need as I am .......

OK so I got FIFA12 for PC (thanks again Obix). I keep getting disconnected from EA servers when trying to play UT or online. I've tried seaching but just keep coming across people whinging and not any fixes. I've got a sky router. Any ideas all knowing OCukers?

I have had to stop playing fifa because ever since they released the Euro DLC add on my online has messed up. Messed up to the point where i secretly think EA haved screwed my perfect game over because i have not bought their DLC, my game was fine online before, i have played hundreds of games online without issue but now very frequently in an online match i get "unable to sync with this online game" or something like that and i keep getting disconnected when i play ultimate team. Its gone from perfect to unplayable since the DLC. so Maybe EA are that pathetic and are spoiling the game for those that have not bought the DLC.

Just came to find this thread to see if anyone knew a fix to that exact desync problem....trying to play 2v2s with my mates and literally every game in the first half at some random point im getting desynced and kicked :/ mates are able to carry on merrily playing without me though.

I've tried:
Deleting my fifa12 folder and letting it recreate (the mydocuments one)
Turning off router firewall
just forwarding the fifa 12 ports on the firewall
repairing fifa 12

Can't think of anything else to try, completely ****ed off to the point that unless i find a fix for this soon i don't think i'll even bother with fifa13 :/

EDIT: i notice bigchief has a sky router, what do you have redtop? As i'm on sky too.

I use a Three HSPA+ dongle mate, ive hardly ever had any issues with it and i dont lag on FIFA, i have stopped playing it now as it did my head in, i think Maybe Pes 2013 is gonna get bought this year.
 
Well I completely deleted fifa yesterday and redownloaded it onto a different hdd and it seems to be working, played in 1v1s and 2v1s without issue...unless its just not liking more than 3 people.

Weird. I only ever had this issue one evening a few weeks back, then it never happened again since (and I've played at least 30 games online since that evening). I'm not aware of having done anything to fix it - there may have been an origin update that did something though.

Scratch that, it worked fine last night after having reinstalled it the night before but came to play again today and it doesn't work again.

Changed absolutely nothing between last night and today so **** knows what the problem is
