ok - so here goes.

I will caveat what I'm about to say by adding the fact that I've played FIFA for years 10 years plus, I've been a reasonably good played, usually around Division 2/3 on UT etc

After playing around 15 games or so online, my thoughts are as follows:

  • overall whole game feels so slow - i was keen for it to be less "pingy" than FIFA 14 and alike but it's very slow paced. The fun faster paced game feels like it's been sucked out of FIFA
  • horrendous game so far, passing accuracy is awful - defenders get to the ball almost everytime sooner than your players
  • small fullbacks pushing big strong centre forwards off the ball easy
  • players just stand still - there is no movement from your team when looking for a pass
  • runs from forward players are awful - often don't bother trying to get into space
  • if you have skill moves in your locker - you'll win easy - trying to standing tackle is almost impossible, players already just snaking their way though with loads of skill moves
  • early days I know but prices of players on PC are awful - so high - hopefully will come down
  • today won 1, drawn 1, lost 8 in division 10!!! Score 4 goals in 10 games
  • all players seem to be one paced - my bibiany who has 94 pace was getting equaled by a 54 paced CB on opponents team.

Like I say - this is a couple of days, 15 games worth of observations, from me. At the moment, I'm very depressed about it from the point of view that it's basically the only game I tend to purchase during the year (busy with family, work etc severely limit my gaming time)

I do hope it will improve and I get back to fun/excitement of playing FIFA that I love but at the moment, i doesn't look good for me.

Maybe change up your play style/find a team that you like playing with. Used city in divisions and unbeaten in 10. Think it's a good game, coming from PES 15
 
To be good at this game you need a clear head , no screaming or shouting , practice makes perfect , and remember there will always be better people than you, its a game and you can't always win , If someone beats you just accept it and learn from it.

It's not more so the fact of better players, it's the games scripting itself, dodgy balls, defenders not moving etc..
 
Well...

Konami can sniff my finger this year.

As a bonus, this is one of the better FIFA games I have played in a while.

Much slower paced which I like.

Where is the cheapest place to purchase?

I do not mind using a VPN to purchase as long as do not need it when playing.

£29 is the best I can find which seems more realistic than the £40 going rate.
