**OFFICIAL GADGET SHOW 2012 PICTURES THREAD (BOOTH BABES MOSTLY)!!**

Who is the girl on the right?

I went yesterday and I must say thanks to Overclockers for the amazing amount of freebies that were given out. I acknowledged that I was a forum member and was given a really smart Antec screwdriver set and then went on to bag a 8Gb flash drive and an assortment of pens pads and other doodahs. I have to say tho that getting some poor guys to compete for a CPU cooler by doing press ups was plain mean :D.

Anyway I took some pics, which are nowhere near as good as the other ones featured but give an idea of some of the other stuff at the show

The following was a rubiks cube machine that looked like it should solve the puzzle by scanning the sides and doing the appropriate moves, bit it kept spitting it out when the bloke fed it in.

I was starangely drawn to the retro zone (no ZX Spectrum on display which was a shame).

I had this actual games machine in the 70s when I was a kid, the closest thing we had to a PS3 :)

Some nice cars, with impressive sound systems to boot -

Don't know if this Dalek is an actual prop, has been built outside the show or simply purchased from somewhere - I did hear somewhere that you could buy one if you wanted - looked pretty good anyway.

Some cars being driven around, not sure why :)

Couple of not very good shots from the super theatre - Suzi Perry looked great in the shorts - shame she has left the TV show.

My current PC game of choice -

To finish a couple of more shots from the OclUK stand.

Overall a great day, really enjoyed it, met some nice people and saw some great products.

Now its back to my humdrum existence, I've got to mow the lawn and get some food shopping in :(

Tbh I was pleasantly pleased with the lack of skimpily clad women draped over stuff, I just find it unnecessary and tacky. Most of the women in the photos look quite normal and I wouldn't be surprised if many of them are employees of the companies whose stands they are on, referring to them as 'booth babes' seems a little insulting.

I was joking, but i think you knew that...

It's different to see them clothed up, that's for sure and as you say most of them look like normal girls that don't do it often, also nice... but it's still the worst outing i have seen in terms of "booth babes" and yeah we need a new term for that lol, even if they are down to earth girlies lol :p

Do the girls do any selling or are they for show at the booths?

I never went but I'm curious to what their purpose is other than attracting viewers.

She doesn't count though Rotty! Gibbo has said she's off some TV show. She is hot and she does have presence too.

If she's not in the running then it's the brunette from Kick, I think.

She is a presenter of the TV Gadget Show. :)

Pollyanna Woodward is her full name.

Apart from the overclockers stand, the show looks identical to last year. Should be more upcoming hardware there not stuff we all have at home.
