***Official Gigabyte Z77X-UP4 TH, Z77X-UP5 TH and Z77X-UP7 discussion thread***

Yeah I noticed that too with the mouse it would only go from left to right near the top half of the screen.

Well my cursor moves far far far to fast, I really do have to creep the mouse along to keep the cursor at a slow manageable pace.

It was fine before F9 BIOS and this BIOS.

Never mind, thats what the keyboard is there for and I don't spend that much time looking at the BIOS.

My mouse is unusable Corsair M60.

Please try the new BIOS (F12a) above as that has cured my erratic mouse pointer movement.

I cant get to the flash he 2nd bios (I have read it can be to do with usb keyboards Logitech G510 in my case that you cant Alt F12.)

It certainly is ALT+F10, just done it myself,

I cannot get my board to go into the backup BIOS...I've tried holding ALT+F10, spamming ALT+F10, but always ends up in the bloody boot menu. :p

Pushing ALT+F10 does nothing for me on my UP4 TH, but ALT+F12 brings up a DualBIOS menu where I can select a drive to boot from including my USB stick but doing that just opens something where I can type kernel names. Anyone explain? I'll try find a guide...

Do I need to be using the 2nd BIOS to do this? Is there a switch on my board? :D

There is no switch on the board, it should just work.

Taken a few weeks, but my Gigabyte Z77X-UP5 TH will be here soon, wish I could say more, but I'm totally over the moon about something. ;)

You can tell me by message.

Any ideas regarding the case fans & the BIOS query guys? Anyway, despite this little niggly things my rig so far is running great. I've also got a Fractal Design R3 case on the way which I'm looking forward to run it all with :)

Liam

Are both fans three pin then?

If you swap the two over so that they are each others fan header etc do they then swap over so that the front is silent and the rear is now full speed?

Guys, I'll ask in here as I'm sure I'll get a response and saves a new thread being started, I have gigabyte z77x d3h, the blck keeps changing and I want to see it locked to 100mhz, what do I have to adjust/setting?

I'm pretty sure the bios are very much similar.

Have you got a newish BIOS on it? if you go through some of the early pages of the UD5H thread then you will see similar symptoms.

The other trick I believe was to type 101 as the Bclk.

Hi guys,

I am seriously considering buying the UP4 TH; however, I am little concerned about the height of the heat sinks that surround the CPU socket.

I have bought a Thermalright Archon SB-E and due its’ 155mm length, it will overhang / foul the very top heat sink.

Could a UP4 TH or a UP5 TH owner quickly measure the height height of the top two heat sinks that surround the CPU socket?

Any reply would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

This is a UP5,
