Updated the BIOS.
Same bootup time.
The mouse cursor is still a bit screwy in the BIOS as it was with the BetaBIOS I had before.

Well my cursor moves far far far to fast, I really do have to creep the mouse along to keep the cursor at a slow manageable pace.
It was fine before F9 BIOS and this BIOS.
Never mind, thats what the keyboard is there for and I don't spend that much time looking at the BIOS.
Lol, my mouse is useless in BIOS too on F8 UP4 TH. The mouse was working perfectly earlier but I don't know what happened.
What mouse are you using mate?

Razer Deathadder 1800, had it for ages. I never used the mouse in the BIOS but it's lame that it doesn't work.

That has made the mouse pointer perfectly normal and smooth again.
Please try the new BIOS (F12a) above as that has cured my erratic mouse pointer movement.
It certainly is ALT+F10, just done it myself,

Hammer the **** out of it as soon as the power button is pressed.
Instead of hold down ALT, try pressing the pair together rapidly.
If I can do it, then theres zero reason you cant.

Apparently having both BIOS the same can eliminate any dual booting.
And as I said in post#191, try different combinations, it will work.

I cannot get my board to go into the backup BIOS...I've tried holding ALT+F10, spamming ALT+F10, but always ends up in the bloody boot menu.
Pushing ALT+F10 does nothing for me on my UP4 TH, but ALT+F12 brings up a DualBIOS menu where I can select a drive to boot from including my USB stick but doing that just opens something where I can type kernel names. Anyone explain? I'll try find a guide...

All I did was hammer the hell out of the two keys.
As soon as I pressed the power button, I was like Speedy Gonzales on the two keys.

Any ideas regarding the case fans & the BIOS query guys? Anyway, despite this little niggly things my rig so far is running great. I've also got a Fractal Design R3 case on the way which I'm looking forward to run it all with

Are both fans three pin then?
If you swap the two over so that they are each others fan header etc do they then swap over so that the front is silent and the rear is now full speed?
So in the BIOS you have selected "voltage" control for the fans?
Have you got a newish BIOS on it? if you go through some of the early pages of the UD5H thread then you will see similar symptoms.
The other trick I believe was to type 101 as the Bclk.
